Plastic but sturdy

When it arrived, I was really disappointed. Didn't want to go to the trouble of drilling into tile and ruining them. I did it anyway, and it seems to be standing the test of time. It doesn't look like plastic when it's mounted and the only problem is the knurled screw for tightening the vertical height. It's tough to turn and doesn't really lock. However, you don't use this thing like a trombone, so once it's set, it is quite perfect. One star off for this difficulty for those who need to continuously change height...

Really read the description

We got this out of the packaging before noticing that the shiny finish was chipped off near the top. Amazon took it back with no problem, but I'm glad there was a factory default because the quality of it was not great and I would have had to pay to send it back because I didn't like it. I bought it for a very short elderly friend and the concept of sliding the shower head lower seemed great, but you can't tell quality from an online ad. I should have known at the price it was "too good to be true". The hose is plastic and covered with a printed film to make it look like a metal hose. Not that there is anything wrong with a plastic hose, but just looking at the picture made it look metal. So be smarter than me and read the description well!

Excellent adjustable shower

This is an excellent adjustable shower. The rubber water tube is stiff - you may prefer a more flexible metal-bound one. The provided template is off by 1/8" - measure instead. The instructions neglect to say that the drill size is 1/4". The stanchions are plastic, the slide-tube is metal. The mount does not appear to be designed to be used as a grab-bar. This shower head holds itself up and in position easily, unlike many other adjustable sliding showers, whose shower heads are too heavy for the mechanism.

You get what you pay for

The shower head sprays upward because the shower hose attached pushes it up and the clamping handle isn't strong enough to hold the position of the showerhead. Perhaps the rod should be designed to be further from the wall and the clamp should be made to actually work

initially quite ok, but it gets worse quite fast

we have this one now since 4 years. It was quite ok for the first 2 years but it started to leak on the head and these days i'd call it splashing now. it also sometimes hard to loose and adjust due to scale. Need to get it replaced with a new one. If you looking for one which does not need to last forever, this one is 'just ok' for its price i think.

Easy to install and a joy to use

We had just installed a walk-in shower and were dissatisfied with the shower head that came with it. We had used a sliding shower on our cruises in the past and had really enjoyed them. When we ordered our Duro-Med sliding shower we hoped it would be as enjoyable - and we weren't disappointed. It is such a pleasure showering with this unit. It works equally as well when we are standing or seated. It is easy to install and even easier to use.

The shower head is not steadily set.

I read the review before ordering it that the shower head can not be steadily set on the hook. I ordered it anyway. The shower head is really loose and the tubing is plastic but with faked metal printing. It costs $16 to ship back so I decide to keep it as a souvenir. I will be very careful to order from non-Amazon sellers.

For what was paid it was exactly what you would expect. The ones I ordered worked well and are holding up great. They do feel a little cheaply made but again, for the price it is great!

après seulement 4 mois d'utilisation, un petit bout de plastique a cassé et un petit jet sort de travers. aucun moyen de trouver la compagnie sur le net et Amazon ne peuvent rien faire étant donné que ça fait plus de 30 jours. très ordinaire.

Good product

Good product the shower head has good pressure as long as you have good flow. Mounts pretty easily, this product is almost all plastic. I broke the soap dish the first time i tried to move it up the bar it was held tight to the bar with a little rubber "spacer" that fell out. All in all i'm happy with it
