Old one felt bettet

It is good and cooler to the body but fit is larger so a little more cumbersome. I bought my last one from back surgeon . Same company. It works well and offers support.

Dependable back support.

I had an old Donjoy back support, size M, which lasted long time. Now, I need a bigger size to fit my current back pain. When I sleep with this support, it makes my back recover faster. Since I always have seasonal back pain, I always depended on Donjoy back support.

Great brace!

This is the second one ordered for my mom. She had back surgery and when her back is hurting or she needs extra support while walking this brace works wonders. She is 88 and still walking.

Absolutely the best lumbar brace I have tried. (And I tried about 10 of them over the years)

I have had one of these for years. I recently had a second lumbar fusion. The brace that Kasier gave me was painful, with a hard plastic piece over the wound. (I assume it was a purchase which was made by Kaiser Corporate, without any practical knowledge). So I am now using my Donjoy brace, which works perfectly with minimal pain. I also ordered one for my doctor, as a gift, so he had a sample of what a good brace was like. I have recommended this brace to several friends. They all love it.

Great price and reasonable price

I am an athletic trainer and routinely purchase bracing products as a result of my job duties. This brace is the great quality brace that I usually purchase for patients, and it's reasonably priced. The brace is durable and should last the rigors of daily use. This is a top quality brace well worth the price, so don't be fooled by cheaper imitation versions.

Poor design

Rides up immediately with sitting and the adjuster is only one strap so you cannot tighten the lower and upper areas separately which is an issue especially if you need more support in the lower spine

My favorite

This is the exact same back brace I got from my Surgeon's office... 3 Years ago and I still wear it! While I'm at work, grocery shopping or. Anywhere I have to stand for long periods (which can be very painful). This is the best support I've found. I've tried all kinds!

Outstanding among a ton or useless binders.

Recommended for me post-op. by the ace spinal surgeon at a famous hospital in the USA. The rest are just Mickey Mouse. It is not a soft binder, they do nothing except compress your belly. This really supports the vertebral column like no other. Infinitely and easily adjustable during the day. Mens and ladies models. Don't waste money on soft belts if you need protection. But the picture is WRONG. You must put it on withe no separation and the battens must be vertical. Close the Velcro flaps just to keep it in place, then pull the ring to tighten enough to give some tummy pressure,that is most important. Canadian MD.
