Exceeds my expectations

The new design is a true one piece lug nut. you can't tell from the picture on the Amazon's web site because they use an old picture with the two piece design which was prone swelling and cracking. only time will tell, but for now, I'm extremely happy with this Dorman product.

Stock replacement

Worked excellent on an 06 Monte carlo. The only issue I have with these style lug nuts is the same reason I replaced the old ones. I live in the UP of Michigan and salt corrosion is bad here. There are 2 piece lug nuts and once they corrode they begin to swell. Makes it almost impossible to remove a wheel when they do

one piece redesign of a rust prone capped nut

no longer the 2 piece design tin capped nut that rusted & swelled making it difficult to remove, it is a one piece solid nut, it is also a tiny bit longer overall due to the redesign, the picture is no longer accurate as it still shows the older rust prone 2 piece design
