About the sizing...

Gen X here. I used to have so many pairs of Docs in varying styles as a teen and 20-something in the 1990's. I loved them. The leather is sturdy and as you wear them/break them in, they start forming themselves to the shape of your foot and ankle for a custom fit. The soles are air cushioned and really nice if you have to be on your feet a lot. I've seen people asking if these are real Docs and about the sizing. Yes, as far as I can tell, they are legit. They were packaged well, are well made and feel good on. I really like the fluff... So cozy. As for sizing, I wear a 7.5 US women. I always used to buy size 7 Docs back in "the old days." Now that I'm older and a little fatter I decided to go ahead and get a size 8. Well... I probably should have got a size 7, after all. They are a little bit roomy in the heal and toe. I'm not going to trade them, though. I got these for autumn and winter and plan to be wearing thick socks most of the time. So, I believe it really comes down to preference. If you are a half size and want a more snug fit, go down. If you want/need wiggle room, go up. Just be sure that when you break them in you lace them properly so you don't end up with a boot that chafes your ankles.

Exactly what I expected ????

I am a 7.5- 8 these fit perfectly. I want to be able to have the option to wear with socks and can. My feet are always cold and these are perfect. Looks adorable with leggings & skinny jeans. I wear with laces loose but I can tell will need a little breaking in. Overall satisfied and they where packaged beautifully

LOOOOVE these boots

I absolutely LOOOOOVE these boots. When I decided to get some Docs I was worried about blisters. I know Docs usually need a break in period, so I wore them around my house on a couple of occasions just to see how they felt. Lemme tell you, they were so comfy and barely needed any break in at all. This morning was the third time I ever put these on and I decided to take my dogs on a walk (about 2.5 miles) in cold and wet grass. These made my walk so enjoyable! I typically wear running shoes when walking my dogs and come home with my feet soaking wet and cold as ice. Not only did these keep my tootsies warm and dry, they were just as comfortable to walk in as any of my running shoes! Those bouncy soles are magic! They are also super cute, I'll be wearing these ALL the time until summer hits again!

UPDATE: I live in Wisconsin and it has been very cold and snowy here. I wear these with no socks and walk through the snow and I have zero issues. My feet are dry and cozy. The other day I put on my Sperry snow boots and after walking through the snow my feet were like ice. Docs for the win. Fits just right. I have a narrow size 10, there’s room. I don’t need to wear socks with them, they’re so warm. I wore them around the house and to short trips to the grocery, etc. to break them in for a couple weeks before I wore them for a real long period of time. I read ahead of time that breaking them in is crucial and I followed that advice. I love them

Really nice boots and I love the fur it keeps your feet really warm. They are a bit heavy for me though. Hopefully, I will get used to them?

I love the boots but I had to return them for a size bigger. And even the size bigger is snug. But they are beautiful ????

Must Have!!

They are way better than I expected. I wore them when it’s 15~30 degree outside in snow with super thin socks. They keep my feet so warm and not slippery at all on icy road!!! They are so good gotta write a review for them. Absolutely worth it.

Comfy and cute!

Good boots! I can tell they will need some breaking in. I will say that they seem to run a little small. I wear a 5 and sometimes they can still be a little loose on my feet. These are definitely not loose. I'm hoping they stretch a little so I can wear thicker socks. But I mainly got them to wear with tights anyway. So we will see how this goes. This is my first pair of Dr. Martens, btw. And thank you Amazon (Shophop) for the speedy delivery!!! I am excited to have these before Christmas. Edit: I've been wearing them and walking around for awhile. They are already breaking in. Amazing! They feel way less bulky than they look. The arch support, which is important to me, is fantastic. They really support my ankles as well. And last but not least, they are WARM! Good boots. The quality is excellent.

Finally my first pair of dr martens! In love!

I’ve been wanting doc martens for over a year and my boyfriend surprised me with these pair for my birthday. Perfect winter boots i’m very excited for them. They’re so stylish and casual yet they do stand out because of the branding with the famous yellow stitching. Keeps my toes warm and it looks boujee while at it. Fit is as expected, maybe a bit tighter if it was even a cm smaller. i’m usually a 7.5 but sized down because they are boots and they usually run larger. I think they would also fit true to size as well- sizing down isn’t necessary.

These are amazing!!!!! They take forever to do up though (think hockey skates lol) I often leave them undone for my walks since I’m pregnant and they look cool undone too

I absolutely love these boots. The quality is superb and the faux fur inside is very warm and adds extra comfort. True to size. I ordered my usual number and fits perfect. No need to break in as I used them first day for 1 hour walk and had no issues, they are super comfy. Highly recommended. I uploaded a video and hope this helps other buyers :)
