Great Dremel Bit!

I used this to make a pickup route larger on a guitar. It didn't wear down the bit at all! After that, I used it to remove old adhesive from some tiles I wanted to reuse, and it did that with ease! I'm sure I'll find other uses for it in the future.

I USE THIS CARBIDE SANDING DRUM TO DRILL INITIAL HOLES ON A VARIETY OF HARDWOODS AND EVEN TURQUOISE STONE FOR RING MAKING, AND IT CUTS EASY WITH PERFECTLY SMOOTH HOLE ON THE INSIDE ! I'VE DRILL MANY PIECES SO FAR AND IT STILL CUT LIKE BRAND NEW. GREAT ACCESSORY.

If metal or woodworking, this *will* save you money.

This particular Dremel® 1/8" shank rotary tool attachment works well and is, as advertised, shockingly durable. Under heavy use the tool wears to lower grit until better classified a rasp, and while brilliant for shaping sturdy materials, it is by design less gentle than sandpaper flaps or rounds and so is less broadly less suited to delicate work. An excellent tool that trades versatility for absurd durability, and one that should be considered whenever a sanding drum is replaced.

Quality

This thing is the real deal. Grinds through tough fiberglass like butter with low speeds and low pressure. Expensive, but if it gets the job done, it’s worth it. Won’t explode is slip off the mandrel like the sanding bands do.
