Not quite what expected.
The drill bitt supplied with the kit was incorrect for the installation. I was way too small for the outer threads on the coil. I think they provided the correct for a 1/4-20 tap. What was needed was a 17/64.

Worked perfectly, and kit includes everything needed.
Great kit! Worked just like advertised and included everything I needed. (Assuming you have a wrench to twist the tap and a driver for the drillI needed to reattach a starter motor to my snowblower. The bolts needed to go into aluminum, and all 4 had stripped over the years. This kit fixed it perfectly in about 30 minutes or less. Even includes a little tool to break off the end of the insert you use to screw them in. I am sure this saved me over $100.

Worked great. Solved a serious problem.
Bolts that hold the muffler on my log splitter were striped. Muffler would not stay on and it was loud. The helical thread kit worked great. The right drill bit, tap, and install tool were provided. Installation was easy.
