what happened to these

I used to own a pair of these and was looking forward to having another pair. Unfortunately, they are nothing like their former self. I purchased my correct size and these were so narrow I couldn't even get my foot in them. A wide wasn't available so I had to send them back.

It only took me all most 25 years to replace my old pair

First off I took some mink oil and put on them before I ever put them on 2nd off I had a pair of these back in 1995 and the only reason I had to get rid of them was because I got pregnant and my feet swelled so bad my foot busted the seam out of the side and for 20+ years I have been threatening to get another pair and last week I finally did it and oh how I have missed these boots so comfortable and stylish It only took me 24 all most 25 years to get another pair but thats my fault and I'm just happy I have them back in my life once again lol

Acceptable Gardening Shoes

I needed shoes for gardening. A smooth sole that wouldn't hold mud. There is a little indentation in the middle of the sole that catches the mud. I'm not sure what purpose it serves. (Other than to fill with mud.) I haven't been able to find women's (smaller sizes) smooth soled work boots (like old fashion barn boots), so this was my best choice. They're not perfect, but they'll have to do. I wish they were higher on the ankle like a boot. But they're higher than a standard laced oxford, which is good. They are well made out of sturdy materials. And they are worth they money. They should last many years. Overall, I'm pleased with them. They're not perfect but they're very good.

These are awesome!!

I love these boots! I had a pair of these years ago and loved them. I realized I needed a new pair of brown boots for the winter and decided to try these again. I am so glad I did. They are extremely comfortable. The inside has foam padding and the leather is soft so it forms to the foot. They are the perfect ankle height that looks great with a straight cut pant or a distressed rolled cuff jean. The color is dark and doesn't show stains and coordinates with most neutral colors. Eastland's quality is outstanding as always. Definitely recommend for a comfortable casual boot!

Flashback

Had a pair of these in high school (25 years ago) and when I realized they still made them, I had to have them. I believe they'll stretch a tad once they get worn in a little as the toe width is a little snug. Other than that, everything I remember!

Comfortable, well made shoes

Fit as expected, true to size. High quality leather. There is no tread on the sole, so they don’t have a lot of grip, but the flexible rubber makes them comfortable to wear. Lighter weight than expected. Perfect for travelling as they are comfortable enough to walk in all day, but light enough to pack in a backpack if needed. They do require a short break-in period but soften up quickly.
