I love this book compartment! It’s sturdy and has so much space for all of our books (large and thick books) other book compartments had space only for 1 to 2 books. Instructions were super easy to follow and came with all the tools needed.

Previously Returned Product! See screw marks! Scratched and Warped

This product was clearly returned by someone else. There are screw marks form someone preciously trying to assemble some of the pieces. Same pieces are scratched. The front piece is warped. You definitely need a drill to get it together. Waiting to see if I can exchange it for a shelf that isn’t preciously damaged.

Not worth the time or money.

I am only leaving a review to save other people the hassle we endured with this shoddy shelf. We are tired parents of three little girls and don’t have time to waste building shelves with warped and damaged wood. I’m super upset because of the stellar reviews the other ECR4kids bookshelves received. The wood was damaged and the pieces did not fit together and this is not builder error....my husband is a professional engineer.
