Metallic? Not really

Don’t understand why these are labeled as metallic. The colors do not appear metallic on paper. They color nice and smooth and are unusual colors. However some of the leads are so soft they are impossible to sharpen without crumbling. I can’t recommend them unless you want extremely unusual non-metallic colors.

They look nice and write well until you have to sharpen them.

You can get some use out of the pencils until you have to sharpen them and then forget about using them. It has been a frustrating experience for our family as my 3 year old doesn't understand why we cannot properly sharpen the pencil so she can use it again.
