Simple storage container, seems air tight
I bought a huge box of Yorkshire Gold tea and the bags come as they are, not individually packaged. I drink tea nearly everyday, so I wanted a dedicated air-tight tea container that would look good on the counter. This is really not the aesthetic I was going for. Surprised how impossible it was to find a large, attractive tea container that didn't come as part of a set on Amazon. I have a lot of teal things in my kitchen, so this seemed like the natural choice. Having it in my kitchen now, I'm ambivalent towards it, though. It's a tin material. The lid might be bamboo with a rubber seal. The quality seems good and it arrived undamaged without dings or dents. The stickers came off easily with only a small amount of residue, which I was able to dab off with the sticker. I cleaned it with warm soap and water before I loaded it up with as meany tea bags as I could fit. I did take a peek at the dimensions before purchasing, but I guess my brain played a trick on me, plus it looks absolutely huge in the product image of the woman holding it in her hands. That is a very misleading photo. In reality, it's not very large; I included a picture of the container beside a regular soda can for reference. I was not able to fit all 160 Yorkshire tea bags in it as I had hoped, but probably more than half. The lid of this container is definitely very snug, actually a little difficult to open, so I feel it is air tight. I decided to purchase the matching coffee tin for my husband's Nescafe instant coffee mix. The price of these is too high for what they are, but if they hold up, then that is fine. I'm trying to refresh the look of my kitchen a little bit.

Bigger than expected!
Very pleased! This tin is much nicer quality and bigger than I expected it to be! It holds approximately 3 boxes of tea bags-maybe more if you strategically organize them. The turquoise matched my kitchen aid mixer and some accent pieces in my kitchen. It looks cute sitting out on my countertop. Highly recommend!

Seal broke after 3 days. Fixed with rubber bands.
I like the size, colors, and simple design, and purchased 2 different colors. The seal broke ☹️ on one after 3 days of use. I replaced the seal with 3 rubber bands. I still like them but am disappointed. If you bought one and the seal breaks, use rubber bands… The manufacturer should use better quality seals. So, 4 stars instead of 5.

Nice tight seal, looks good
I got this because I hated searching my pantry for my 4:30 am cup of tea and it is the same style as my bread box. it has a nice tight seal and will hold 60 bags of Twinnings tea so I don't have to keep refilling it every few days.

Not airtight
I bought this to store loose tea in, as I loved the color and retro design. But the lid isn’t even snug. If the tin fell over, the tea would spill out. I tried adding a rubber band to the seal- but that made the lid not sit all the way down, and it still isn’t airtight. Bummed.

New Design Square Tea Tin
It is an excellent display container for 40 to 50 tea bags. My wife likes tea brewed from tea bags, although I prefer loose leaf varietal teas that Amazon sources from India. The turquoise color was compatible with other items on a kitchen counter.
