Good value for the price

Good quality of the plastic and perfect fitment to my water resistant box. But the screws are not ensuring very well the cables. I have to tight 2 times and one of them went cross threaded.

Used Outdoors

When our electrician replaced this receptacle for us outdoors, the one on the other side of our house outdoors started working. We only needed this one with the rest button.

Not the best quality, Read On

This was not a good value for the cost. As far as quality goes, it's more of a lower end item. Let me explain. I bought two of these, they are rated as Tamper and Weather resistant, and cost extra for that. They should be marked 'TR" and "WR", but one of them was missing the "WR marking on the face of the receptacle. Also, quality made weather resistant receptacles should include stainless steel mounting screws, but these appear to be inferior mild steel. Also the industry standard color for the "HOT" terminal screw is gold in color, these are a black color, and not as widely used as the gold, so can add to confusion. I cannot recommend these, they are just not worth the cost.

Beware.....not for outdoor use (IMHO)......lasted a month (until the snow turned to rain!!)

Boo. Too bad it lasted long enough that it was past the generous Amazon return period. Definitely not for a DIY application. An electrician might be able to use with the GFCI and a NEMA4 cover.....
