EXCELLENT Hats, OWN 8, and LOVE THEM!

These hats are fantastic. I own 7 8 of these as I exercise frequently, and want to avoid the sun, so also have one for the car. I am male with a head between an adult S/M. It would be fine for someone with a small or very large head, as the elastic is good and there is a cinch chord. When I bike, they work well under my helmet (I bought my helmet knowing I'd be wearing a beanie or two under it), and protects the sides and back of my neck well. When cool but windy or rainy, I may wear a thin beanie under it to stay warmer. The first couple years I washed the hats by hand, but I just started washing them (cold) with all my clothes in the washing machine and delicate cycle in the dryer, and they come out fine with the bill maintaining its shape. But they are very easy to hand wash dry very fast hang drying. The reason I own 7 is that after exercise on trails, I shed all my layers to reduce risk of Covid and wait for the weekend to wash.

The hat fits great. The length covers the back of the neck from the sun. The color is highly visible, which is good for running on the street.

Protects my neck

It might look a little weird, but I didn’t burn the back of my neck while working out in the yard on Saturday. I only gave four points for comfort because it doesn’t quite have the same feel as a regular ball cap.

Keeps your head cool, but......

I got this hat to courter act heat rash symptoms on my forehead. So far, it's been great! A little more structure to the hat would be good, but you might lose the cooling ability. You can put it in water and put it on, which works good on hot humid days. I do wish they had put a design in to put the ear/neck flap up on top of the cap. I used Velcro to do that as that can be a nice function to have too. All in all very impressed with its use so far!

Surprisingly cooling and breathable

My husband works outdoors on top of metal roofs in temps which frequently exceed 90 degrees.. He says it keeps him far cooler than the light colored bandanas he used to wear, and also provide a bit of shading from glare due to the baseball cap design. So pleased with them that I bought 4 more, so he'd be sure to have a clean one for each day of the work week. The bright neon orange is perfect for construction jobs where visibility and safety are paramount. Highly recommend these to anyone who exercises outdoors in the hot sun.
