Good quality puzzle
The puzzle is beautifully made and came with all pieces. Took me less than a week, using a few hours a day.

Not the original artwork
The image was expanded from the original wood block print of a wave with Mount Fuji. That is good to make it a large panoramic scene, but also makes for a large amount of sky. The large wave has beautiful blue stripes within the black, but we struggled to see them while assembling the puzzle without holding a flashlight at a shallow angle to the table. The pieces are thin as others have said, but still sturdy so not an issue. The image is very striking when assembled, but not sure I'll ever want to do this puzzle a second time.

Great challenge
This puzzle is really high quality and the perfect amount of challenge. It is very long so will not fit on an average table. Had to assemble on my bar top.

Great gift!
I bought this as a gift - twice! Both times the recipients loved it!

Bad cuts and bad quality
I do a lot of puzzles. Like, a lot. I purchased the panoramic version and I'm quite dissatisfied. The cuts on the pieces are completely crazy and not very well done, the pieces don't seem to fit together very well, and the cardboard is quite thin compared to other Eurographics puzzles I've done. I usually do Ravensburger and Eurographics puzzles, occasionally Buffalo. This one is probably the worst quality Eurographics I've done and I have quite a collection. As you can see from the attached photo there are some odd cuts (center of photo) and some of the edges don't line up well, for example, large pieces attach to small pieces. (Bottom left hand corner. Those pieces definitely go together.) It was quite disappointing because I've been waiting do this puzzle for quite some time and it was far below my expectations.

I was so hyped only to be let down.
I've never done a puzzle before. Well, maybe I have as a kid but if I did I was probably too young to remember it. So why did I try this puzzle out? It was all because I'd seen the movie 'Puzzle' and the idea of doing one intrigued me so it was off to Amazon to get one. I chose this particular puzzle because I didn't like the idea of completing something only to break it back down and store it away until the mood strikes me to give it another go. With this design I figured that I could frame it so I could happily display it but it was not to be because though the puzzle was supposed to be 1000 pieces, I had to find out the hard way that I was sent only 998 of them!! To be fair, I found this puzzle very difficult but I knew that going into it. The intricate finger waves and the monochrome skies made this a challenge for me, but I enjoyed that. Despite me being a puzzle newbie I forced myself to carry on and painstakingly find the pieces that fit together on a trail and error basis and eventually I was able to put together most of the puzzle. Keep in mind that this isn't a small puzzle by any means, each puzzle piece is smaller than 1 inch square and once you have the border pieces together it measures in at over 39 inches long and over 13 inches high. Unfortunately it wasn't until the very end when I was thinking about heading down to the custom framing shop that I realized that there were 2 missing pieces and I was utterly gutted. I'll be returning this for a refund ASAP.

Great quality, finished puzzle looks awesome. Quite difficult.
I've done around a dozen 1000 piece puzzles now, and this was by far the best cut/image quality thus far. I've tried puzzles from Eurographics, Galison/Mudpuppy, Masterpieces, Buffalo, & Ravensburger. None have compared to the Eurographics quality. It was a difficult puzzle to put together - my girlfriend who regularly puzzles with me was turned off this puzzle, I nearly gave up too. Once you've worked through the obviously patterned/matching bits such as the ships and waves, you're left with about 400-500 similar colored grey/brown/orange pieces that make up the sky. I finished the border, followed by the ships, waves, and foam in about 3-4 hours across 2 days. The remainder of the puzzle (mostly sky) took me around 8-10 hours across 5 or so days. All in all it took me around 12-14 hours to complete over about a week (couple hours a day). The end result is an absolutely gorgeous (extended) panoramic of Katsushika Hokusai's 'The Great Wave off Kanagawa'. Will definitely be framing this one.

Mala calidad de los materiales
El resultado es aceptable, pero la calidad de las piezas es mala, no te da esa alegría de sentir que encajan las piezas perfectamente. Se desprende el forro trasero.

A fairly challenging puzzle.
I ordered this puzzle for myself. It is the first 1000 piece puzzle I have done myself. It took me 6 days to finish it (average 7 hours per day). The pieces are really well made. You'll know if a piece is correctly placed. The colours are vivid. (The photo I have attached does not do justice.) I started by forming the border, then did the ships, then the blue waves, then the foams and lastly the sky. I found it helpful to segregate the colours and then within the colours the types of puzzle pieces. I really enjoyed completing this puzzle and will get it framed for my office. Now I'm on the look out for another Eurographics puzzle.
