Very Pigmented

These are very pigmented and a little goes a very long way. Normally I steer away from the celebrity endorsed palettes but this one just looked amazing and I took a chance. The shimmer and the glitter really do pop with very little amount of makeup.

Beautiful, super pigmented, gentle on eyes

I'm wearing less striking makeup now I'm in my thirties and have less reason to go out, but I couldn't resist this. It's gorgeous eyeshadow too - absolutely perfect for a night out and it's so effortless to get a feminine, dramatic look. Pros: • Gorgeous, super-pigmented colours • Just need to lightly tap the a brush to it to get a nice thick layer of powder • Super glittery shimmers, shiny metallics and soft mattes • Blends really nicely • Doesn't aggravate my sensitive eyelids Cons: • It is hard to only get a small amount on your brush so achieving a subtle look can be a challenge This palette has a stunning variety of colours, and the glitter is so sparkly and stands out, shimmering when catching the light. There are a few colours that are more matte and other metallic ones, but overall it's a good range for creating blended looks with some contrasting colours. I have tried to wear this for some more casual occasions so I've not wanted it to be over the top, but some colours, especially the dark blue, are so pigmented it is very hard to lightly paint it on - so just be aware that you are committing to some brave colours here, and you'll want a good blending brush to finish your look. The powders are really thick and great quality; they stick to an eyeshadow brush without much persuasion and stay on your lids without smudging (although I do use fixing spray). I can honestly say that it stays in place for hours with the colours remaining vivid when I go to remove it at the end of the day (which with a good eye makeup remover will take a few pads!). The shimmering outcome is really pretty and sparkly, and the mattes very smooth. None of the powder has irritated my sensitive eyelids (I have blepharitis), which is quite rare for metallic eye makeup for me so this is a bonus. I think the eyeshadow is going to last a long time given that a little goes a long way. I'd totally recommend it as a "party" palette, especially for special occasions and nights out. There isn't a colour I don't like - absolutely love it.

Versatile and very useable range of warm and cool tones...

The result of a collaboration between Texan rapper Megan Thee Stallion and Revlon, a cosmetics' brand founded in America in 1932, the Big Bad Palette is bold and colourful - which is what drew me to it. if you enjoy experimenting with new shades, this could be a perfect palette for you as there are lots of colours to try - all of which are highly pigmented. It's a face and eye palette as 2 facial highlighters are included along with 8 different eyeshadows. Interestingly you get a mix here of cool and warm toned shades - the warm shades are on the left side of the palette with the cool tones to the right. Much is made of 'cool' and 'warm' in relation to make-up. The Big Bad Palette lets you throw the rule book out of the window. I believe my complexion tends towards cool - but I'm finding that both cool and warm shades are working for me and I particularly liked Fever, Toasty and the beautiful black shimmer of Up In Flames - all of which are warm. Not only does this palette offer cool and warm tones, there's also a mix of matte, medium shimmer and high sparkle to play with. Don't assume if you're over a certain age that shimmer's not for you. The great thing about this palette is that I'm finding that there's not a single shade I can't use. The palette is slim and compact in size at 10.5x10cm - ideal to keep in a bag for touch-ups on the go. The price - £14.21 at time of writing - is very good value for 10 good quality highly pigmented shadows and highlighters. And don't forget you can double the range of possible effects by wetting these powders. Versatile, more useful - and much less scary than you might at first think.

Lovely Pigmented Shades

This makeup palette has been designed in conjunction with Megan Thee Stallion so my adult daughter was delighted to try it out and out the colours through their paces. I am impressed at the price it is selling at as usually a brand that uses a famous name on their products charge a high price but this palette is just so affordable. My daughter does her own makeup and also does makeup for other people so she has used all of the colours in this palette and says they are highly pigmented and that the colours are bright and bold. She says the powder stays on eyelids etc without needing to be touched up during the day. Although the colours are strong she has found no difficult in removing them with her normal facial cleanser. This palette has been designed to be unisex and I can see the appeal for both sexes to wear and use this gorgeous set. The set includes 10 different shades with a lovely shimmer to them and are all very beautiful.

Really great varied palette

I gave this palette to my girlfriend to try out and review as I personally don't wear eyeshadow, so this is based more on her experience! We tried this out using some of the shades for some beauty looks for a photoshoot we were doing. The eyeshadow is super high quality, very pigmented, so you only need a small amount to get the desired look. They've put larger amounts of the more neutral colours like the golds, with smaller bits of the more creative looks you might want to do. For best results it's nice using mutliple shades for a gradient effect. There's a few matte and a few metallic options, so it really gives a lovely variety of looks to match with your outfit. It seems to be a beautifully curated selection designed to give you some of everything and really go with a lot of different skin tones. Personally I especially like the cooler colours in the palette, but you can also do a really nice smokey look or a fiery warm look too. Because you only need a small amount to get the desired look, it's also quite a nice long lasting set! Highly recommended!

Lovely colours and good quality.

There's a lovely selection of colours here. Endless possible designs. They're deeply pigmented, so they'd show up nicely on different skin tones, and blend seamlessly. Even colour and no streaks. They can be applied either wet or dry, which makes them really versatile and able to create gentle and intense looks. You've got everything you'd need here for almost any occasion, be it formal, casual, or fancy. Some shades have a little fallout, but nothing too crazy and a fan brush usually does the trick (I also sometimes use setting powder to prevent any colour from sinking into my foundation base).
