Nice for our patio

So overall it’s a nice patio furniture set. Pluses: 1. Looks as advertised. 2. The wicker is good quality & the cushions seem like they’ll hold up in outdoor conditions (we’ll see though). 3. Took 2 people 30 mins to assemble. 4. Arrived 2 days earlier than the original Amazon estimated delivery time. 5. Everything is shipping in 1 box and neatly packed. 6. Instructions were very easy to follow. 7. It’s not too tall and fits perfectly between our patio windows and won’t block the inside view looking outside. Negatives: 1. Read the other comments and it’s true the bolts they give you are to small to use the washers with (so we didn’t end up using them). IF the manufacturer reads this please increase the bolt length 1 inch & the negative comments should disappear. 2. For the ottoman it would be nice if there was an elastic strap to keep it in place. I can see this blowing away (will probably have to do an aftermarket mod to the cushions to keep them from blowing away) 3. Could be deeper, but if you read the spec’s you knew what you were getting. Overall: it’s a decent patio furniture set for the price. Obviously there is other luxury furniture sets on the market, but if your looking for something that looks good and isn’t bank braking give this a shot. I’ve built ikea furniture before and this wasn’t nearly as bad or time consuming. For us we feel happy with our purchase but there is room for minor improvements (that I stated above) and it would make a big difference in build experience, quality & comfort.

Very frustrating to put together…

It was so frustrating to put together-worse than any IKEA piece I ever put together!!! The screws to attach the pieces were definitely not long enough so they remain separated which is annoying. Some of the holes for the screws were covered or not there so you had to make your own. I would probably have liked it more if it was not so frustrating to put together. Also the fabric is more like nylon so not as soft as it appears in the picture. It did however arrive a week early which was an unexpected plus.

Bolts are too short

Difficult to put together cheaply made bolts or definitely not long enough to put a washer and nut on the end

Get one on sale at The Home Deot

I have never had such a hard time putting an item together. The concept of putting it together is not hard. It is the fact that the holes and screws do not line up, the screws are too short and trying to get the backrest screwed on. I bought one on sale at Home Depot and it took me 30 minuets to put together. I have been working on this one all day. If you enjoy saying bad word under the sun and being frustrated, knock yourself out and buy it. If you want outside furniture you can put together and feel confident that it is sturdy , catch one on sale at a home goods store.
