Plug & Play replacement for circline fluorescent bulb
I have a 20+ year old circline fixture (purchased from Home Depot in 2002) in a closet in which the bulb has been replaced once or twice. When it died last month, I did not have a spare so I went looking. I was surprised to see an LED replacement that claimed to be plug & play with most ballasts. It cost about the same as fluorescent, had more than double the expected lifetime, was brighter (higher lumen rating), and offered free returns, so I didn't have to take a chance to see if it would work (I'd just have a dark closet for a week or so). When it arrived, my husband plugged it in just like any circline bulb and it worked. It's only 2 weeks old, so can't comment on longevity, but it's nice and bright and diffuses the light well.

The price was cheaper than other brands at Home Depot. The light is nice and bright. The packaging was easy to unpack.

Works well with the harbor freight Magnifying light
This light is a plug and play if you had a harbor freight magnifying Light it was easy for me to switch and install this the only thing is the protective cover for the light will not go back on because the light is a little bit more fatter and I will not mount on the little brackets to hold the light it will fit over it but it does work on it as you can see in the picture But overall I am satisfied of how bright is it and that’s why I got it for because my old one started getting To go black around the lights and this one is like daylight

Works very well..but there's a catch
It's great to be able to replace one of these old circline florescent bulbs with an LED equivalent. Probably saves a bit of energy. One thing the product listing doesn't mention is...you still need a proper ballast to make it work, even though LEDs normally don't need a ballast to be able to operate. Feit has designed this LED bulb as near to a 'drop in replacement' as is practical. Not all ballasts will work with this LED bulb though. You should go to the Feit website, and get their recommendations on suitable ballasts. You may need to replace your current ballast. I found a good, but inexpensive ballast here on Amazon (just do a search on B00FS6Q0V4). I'm using this now. It works perfectly well, and it lights up this Feit LED bulb just nicely. Unlike the old florescent bulb, this LED bulb only emits light from one side. If you look at the image I uploaded, you'll see the 4-pin connector is pointing up at a bit of an angle. This is actually the bottom side. The light is emitted from the other side. So make sure you install the bulb, and the connector the correct way. Even though it says it's a 'daylight' bulb, it actually looks more soft white, which I prefer anyway. Nice to get away from the stark florescent look.

Retrofit for Lux 1991 mugnifier light
I wish Feit has a bulb as this one with a higher lumen output. I was retrfiting Luxo magnifier with the old magnetic balast, had to change balast to electronic one, result is great, a bit more of daylight. So far it's great, as is.
