Perfect fit! Well made!

These are very well made, thick and sturdy. These will be great every day sunglasses! Love the clear and tortoise shell combo, stylish and neutral all at once.

Good for cheaper glasses.

Overall I found these classes to be very attractive. The clear frame with a tortoise arms just give it an extra cool that I like. They fit comfortable and hold up on top of my head (which is a habit I do often). Provides good coverage from the sun, but like most cheaper glasses prone to scratching easily. Dropped once and I had a scratch but that was my fault. Overall good shades at a good price.

Stylish, but costly

I ordered these Foster Grant sunglasses because I believed the brand to put out quality products and liked the neutral, hey unique style of the glasses. Overall they feel like a quality pair of inexpensive sunglasses, but I do not consider $40 to necessarily be inexpensive. I’ll explain.. sure, some of us have bought name brand sunglasses for a couple hundred dollars. We expect heavy/durable frames, lenses that don’t scratch, polarization, cases that are rigid and protective and lifetime guarantees. For $10 we expect glasses that are disposable with no real attributes. While these glasses are quite stylish and come somewhat well packaged, they don’t have the qualities that would make them worth more than maybe $25. They are comfortable to wear, but smudge easily and will be scratched in no time since the lenses are plastic. The protective case is just a bag. They’re attractive, but nothing fancy.

perfect for beach

I took this to the beach for my spring break trip. Blocked the sun and gave a very beach vibe. Loved the tortious shell print. Lens protected my eyes from the sun and they stayed put while floating in the ocean. Fit my face and stayed snug on my ears. Stayed up on my nose, didn't slide, even with sweat. The case they came in was actually really cute I kept it as a pencil holder for my desk.

Good For Non-Premium Glasses

I have eyes that are extremely sensitive to the sun, so I wear sunglasses whenever I go out, winter or summer. These Foster Grant glasses are best for overcast or winter days because the plastic lenses aren't particularly dark, although they work well as emergency sunglasses that I keep in the car for when I forget my usual Bolle pair. For sunglasses, they are inexpensive and cannot be compared to any of the upper end brands -- not to Bolle, Oakley, or Ray-Ban. I hate floating nose pieces, so the solid plastic frame gets huge points from me. It fits -- and sits -- comfortably. The hinges work without squeaking or force, although they aren't as smooth as higher-end brands or spring hinges. (Not all premium sunglasses have spring hinges.) Still, the hinges work a lot better than the emergency pair these replace. The plastic lenses are lightweight, but not as thin as I feared, and they are not polarized. They contribute to the overall comfort, however, by not resting heavily on my nose. The styling is distinctive. Although I'm not sure I like the clear plastic front with the tortoise arms, they look good on my face. The shape is not entirely round, as the description suggests, but instead the top of the frame dips toward the bridge to bring up the tops of the lenses. They look more contemporary than traditional round glasses. These are the type of sunglasses you'd find on a store's sunglass rack, whether a discount or department store. They aren't premium sunglasses, but they are better than I expected. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

My favorite sunglasses!

I wear these guys every single afternoon of the summer while relaxing in the pool! The lenses aren't too dark, but they manage to take the edge off the glare while making things look clearer than my normal gas station sunglasses. I normally wear prescription glasses & I don't wear contacts in the pool, and with these I'm better able to see what's going on around me. They're lightweight & extremely comfortable, they're made (partially) from recycled materials, and they ship in a sturdy little cardboard cylinder that keeps them from getting damaged in transit & can be used later as a pencil cup. What's not to love?

Sturdy, good-looking sunglasses.

Very happy with these sunglasses. They look great on and fit very securely. They are slightly tight on my head after an hour or more of wear. I may try to adjust them. The glasses protect your eyes well in daylight. I've been wearing these to soccer games for my children and they really dim the glare and protect my eyes from the wind. Love the style. They feel modern and classic at the same time. Would recommend.

A little feminine design but it works.

My husband accept it. He like it's simply and right color for him. It's a little feminine looking. But the lens are brighter than his black one. It's good to have a different choice for driving. And it looks good on him. Just a little pricy for the quality. Overall I'm satisfied.
