Best tool to have perfectly cooked boiled eggs!!
How did I boil eggs without this!! I love it so much this is my second one. The other lasted me about 3-4 years.

Timing is off, but otherwise works as advertised.
I do really like these timers, however I find that the timer is off. Requiring that I really go to the next step in order to achieve the type of egg I am after. For example, if I want a Medium boiled egg, the timer needs to show Hard. In order to get true Hard boiled eggs, you need to actually take it beyond the full color change or your eggs will not be completely cooked. Because of this it does still help you know if your eggs are cooked in general, but it doesn't really help cook eggs to perfection since the timing is off, and getting true hard boiled eggs without overcooking isn't really possible with this timer since the point at which it reaches full cooking is beyond the limits of the timer.

Perfection
I live at altitude and this wreaks havoc with boiling eggs - I never know when they're ready! Just got this yesterday and this morning tried it out - seeking a medium egg with the whites cooked but the yolks a bit soft so I put this in the water and took the egg out when it hit the line between soft and medium - PERFECT!!! So excited to try this with hard boiled eggs!!! Take the guess work out of boiling eggs and buy this product!!

Worked as advertised. My only gripe is that when you first put it in it rolls over (face down) no matter how gently you put it in. Not a big deal. I just roll it back over and it stays that way.

The aptly named perfect timer
Just received my 'perfect' timer. I used it for the first time to see how close to how I like my eggs the timer would get. I like what I call between soft and medium. So I pulled the eggs out at exactly this time according to the timer. Perfect. No other word. This is a great product that does exactly what it says. Highly recommended. I put the egg and timer in the pan and added cold water rather than waiting for the water to boil before adding the egg. This is the easy way and it worked perfectly, first time.

Love for meal prepping my medium eggs.
I have used this product every week for months. I meal prep and boiled eggs are big part of my lunch. I love medium (hard boiled is too dry for my taste)and this takes out the guesswork

Seems to work ok, but feel that I need to keep the eggs cooking while the timer is ALL YELLOW (no red in the middle) in order to have the whites/yoke become hard boiled.. this was a little deceiving to me.

I think this is for smaller eggs only
This timer isn’t as accurate as other similar ones; for large eggs the Hard gives eggs that are only medium. This works well for me as that’s how I like my eggs but if you like them hard, this timer will be off for you, so you’re better off just going to a timer method.
