Not quite what I expected
Great color. I may have not read the description right. The ball itself is more like a foam ball. I ordered it for a wow item for an older boy box that I pack for Operation Christmas Child. I am going to keep it but I will put it in a box for a younger boy. I won't be ordering more. I ordered one just to check it out.

Super cute but has its pros and cons
Cute mit and fair price but its been hard to loosen up and break it in. Weve used oil and worked to break in and daughter still isnt able to close it well with hands. It also has no option of tightening up thumb piece and didnt know even had one at first. Thumb strap was always a big factor for me and needs to be adjusted. The black material doesnt really make a dif either to help with catching and holding in place. I thought the wrist part with elastic band would be nice but its not what i expected either. Can only tighten so much otherwise it bunches up mit too much and causes mit to overlap and either pinch or just isnt comfy feeling. Bought smallest one and still too big for my daughters fingers/hand but cant send back now. Seems to have an average decent amount of padding but mainly buying for looks.

Perfect size for 5 year old. Parts broke same day.
The size and fit on this glove is perfect for a 5 year old. A problem we see with most of our players are oversized gloves at this age. It’s soft enough that it doesn’t need to be broken in. The first time we tried it on, the adjustment strap broke on one. Later during that same practice, the other strap broke. You can tie them together and jerryrig a replacement but it is a bit disappointing they break on first use. Otherwise I would still recommend this.

It made for a neat bday gift
We got it as a gift, havent heard back about it. We tries ur at home though and my aim had difficulty fitting his hand in. I remember from previous reviews that it needed to be broken in... so hopefully it worked out for the bday guy) we loved the colours and it is very well made.

great for kids just learning
I bought 3 mitts at a time for everyone to have one but it would have been nice if they had been labeled for children not just the size in inches
