Does the job

Took this on a fishing trip in the wilderness. Held up great, even serving nicely as an extra layer against the early morning cold. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it ripped straight up the crotch area 2 days in. However, I would most definitely keep buying again and again.

Best raincoat for the money

This is probably the best raincoat for the money, and as a bonus, it’s light and extremely portable. The pants are very large, however, and would benefit from having elastic around the ankle. I keep two rubber bands in the bag the raincoat came in in order to secure the pants around my boots. I also dislike the way the bag is attached to the label. The button was ripped off with the packaging when I opened it, leaving a hole. That turned out to be a very minor problem, however, because the material this raincoat (and the bag) are made of is very easy to patch with duct tape. Ultimately, this is a great value raincoat that, while somewhat fragile, is easily repaired. It is waterproof and breathable at the same time. I highly recommend this product.

Very flimsy material

I have purchased this brand before and been satisfied with the durability of the jacket. I bought a set of pants and jacket only to find out the pants tore very easily the first time I put them on and attempted to squat down to pick up an item.

Great rain gear in a small package

Rain suit came tightly packed in a bag made of the same material. The bag is really no bigger than a medium notebook.. hard to believe a whole rain suit was in there. The suit was sized as expected and super light weight. My old rain gear was thick and stiff and though it did its job well, it was cumbersome and hot! This suit takes up so little space in our gear it is our new go to for camping, canoeing, etc. It's light and compact to carry, lightweight and breathable on, and does its job keeping the rain out. My first experience with Frogg Toggs tells me I'll be checking out more of their products in the near future!

Great ultralight raingear

Given their somewhat delicate construction, Frogg Toggs are excellent ultralight raingear for the fisherman or UL backpacker. You shouldn't bushwhack or do heavy labor in these, as they'll tear (though that's fixable with duct tape); but for on trail hiking, canoeing, or fishing, they're ideal. They are lightweight and they do the job I ask of them. My only beef with this particular pair is that one of the grommets in the carrying case (which I don't use) immediately popped out upon opening the package... has no impact on my rating, or on usage, but makes me wonder where else they're starting to cut corners in production.

lightweight !!!!

Super lightweight!!!! Keeps you dry and don't feel the rain at all. Not the best look to be honest and not the most durable rain jacket and pants BUT.... It does stop the rain and it's super light. (also not expensive)

Very fragile..

Love how lightweight these are. Bought the slightly bigger size. Tried them on the other evening. Crouched down to roll up the jacket into it hood when... the trousers split wide open !! Very fragile to say the lease.

lightweight, waterproof & packs small

very light weight, not sure about durability yet or how long will remain waterproof, but worked on the weekend it was needed for. Really impressed with light weight, folds small, fits large so can wear warm stuff underneath, or not as wish, used backpacking and intend to get another but sizing difficult to work out so not done so yet.
