Rayon briefs that come close to cotton...
Good quality for Fruit of the Loom: 4.4/5 when compared to my other boxer briefs. (I typically buy a high cotton content boxer brief from a more prestigious brand but for Fruit of the Loom these are pretty good.) Because I've been disappointed with polyester boxer briefs I usually go with at least 90% cotton. I took a chance with these rayon briefs and they are pretty close to my cotton preferred when it comes to not having a sticky butt when sitting for longer periods of time. I decided to go with 4 instead of 5 stars because the material is a little thin, they have wrinkles and I don't think these will last as long as my preferred brand.

Comfortable boxer briefs
These boxer briefs are a very comfortable and soft material. The short leg size runs a bit small compared to similar options I've tried.

Fruit of the Loom Men's Boxer Briefs
The short cut boxer briefs are very soft and comfortable. They fit well under clothes. No chafing; very smooth fabric.

They run a bit large and the horizontal fly is strange, but they feel great.
In an effort to keep things a bit cooler in that area we've been switching over to either 90%+ cotton or bamboo boxers. When we saw these which are made from Lenzing Ecovero material which turns out to be wood pulp (cellulose) we wanted to give them a try to see if they are as breathable as the bamboo ones which cost quite a bit more. When we first felt them the immediate thought was that they are some of the softest boxers we've tried second only to the Bamboo Cool ones which are far more expensive. The fit of these is a little large but since we think the next size down would be too tight, we are OK with it. The only thing we weren't crazy about is the horizontal fly. We aren't sure why they changed the fly design which has been around forever and a day for this one, but it's something we can overlook for how amazingly soft these boxers are. Lastly are the colors which in our opinion were a strange choice but again, they are so soft, who cares? Overall for considerably less than bamboo ones cost, these are a good alternative. They seem just as breathable but if after a number of wears/washes we find differently we will update the review. As they are now we'd definitely recommend them and we give them a 5-star rating.

Silky & Lightweight with Horizontal Access Pouch
Although I usually opt for 100% cotton for all underwear, these briefs are made of very silky, lightweight fabric that feels good on the skin. Very comfortable. Probably good for hot summer days, although they're not as absorbent as 100% cotton -- but I do appreciate the stretch! I'm actually not the biggest fan of boxer briefs (short or long) as they tend to bunch up and/or ride up under your pants, which I find annoying. The short-leg briefs I got did ride up every now and then but not that bad and definitely not a deal-breaker. These briefs come in really GREAT colors. Love 'em all. They have an extra-wide elastic waist band, which looks as though it might be uncomfortable but it's not. However, the big standout with these is the horizontal "access" pouch. I think this must be a first for me, as they're traditionally always a vertical slit. I have to say, it's kind of innovative and cool, and so much easier to manipulate than a vertical slit. By the end of the day, though, it does get stretched out and a little baggy. They're not the best looking brief when being worn (unless you're a male model with a perfect body) but quite comfortable and functional.

Comfy and lightweight
I'm 150 lbs and 5'10" and the medium is a good fit. Might be able to squeeze into a small, but more relaxed this way. I'm probably on the lower end of the medium fit for these boxers whereas I would be on the higher end for a small. These are very comfortable, soft and a bit stretchy (4% spandex). I like that they are lighter weight and a better option for spring/summer months.

I like them
Constructed well, no imperfections or missing hems. Fit as expected, comfortable, and soft. The waistband is nice and feels great over the entire day. Overall, Impressed.

Comfortable..
Soft and comfortable, but the material is quite thin. It’s polyester, so non-adsorbent…if you’re used to cotton underwear, it has a very different feel. The colors are great. They’re claimed to be more environmentally friendly to manufacture compared to conventional rayon-based fabric, and that may be true in a plastic vs plastic comparison, but I suspect that cotton beats them both. No complaints about the horizontal fly…as long as nothing gets caught in the zipper, I’m fine with it.
