Soft Supple Sheep Leather
XL size fit my hands comfortably. I do have large hands and fingers, but not excessively large. The gloves go up the arm a bit. I wasn’t sure how I felt about the two tone, but it’s actually nice in person to see the contrast as it adds interest. The stitching is nice and the details at the wrist and at the back of the hand are lovely. The interior is very soft and comfortable. The sheep leather gives when I make a fist. The only thing missing is a touchscreen pad on the index finger.

Frye Women's Two-Tone Leather Gloves
Buttery soft, these sheep leather gloves are two-tone—black on the top of the hand and tan on the underside. The leather is supple so the gloves move comfortably with the wearer. I normally wear a size large glove and this extra-large size fits as expected—somewhat roomy. There is a thin soft fabric lining that does not add bulk but does add warmth. The workmanship is excellent with three darts on the top of the glove to provide some shape and visual interest. They are approximately 2 inches longer than basic wrist-length which helps protect the wearer from cold/bracing wind, etc. Note—at the time of this review in November 2021 the product page information states they may be washed by hand but the fabric care tag inside the glove states they may NOT be washed in any manner or dry cleaned. The gloves are simply beautiful and should last for years.

Do NOT buy XL for extra finger length. XL does not mean extra long.
These are beautiful gloves, but they are cumbersome to wear because the fingers are not long enough. So my fingers do not bend easily in these gloves. I have long, narrow fingers. My hands are not wide. I got the XL hoping that it would give me more length n the fingers. Nope. They are a little wide in the palm and about 3/8" too short in the fingers. They are soft and well made. But XL means extra big, not extra long. Very disappointing!

Glove Love
These gloves are gorgeous. The leather is soft and sumptuous. The top is black and the palm side brown. Beautifully made they have a light lining that is soft. Fit is fine and they come above the wrist. and warm. They allow easy movement. Beautiful.
