Strip works but the cord is to short. Had to use it in a place we're receptical was near by. Could not use it where I had intended. If it was just 3 feet instead of 2.

If you need an outlet for things like hair blower or a washing machines, check the Watts first, I see people here taking pictures of burnt outlets they are probably just got it overloaded. So guys: 1800 Watt means 1800 Watt, you won't have any problem with consumers like TVs, Lamps, Computers but maybe with things that deals with hot environment (hair blower, washing machine, ovens etc..). Be smart and check your products Watts before buying any outlet. don't pursue only the cheap one. This surge protector is a perfect match to me, needed few more outlets to my laptop desk so I could charge my phone, headphones and my laptop. 450 j of protection is OK, I mean, If you live in a stormy area with a lot of power issues and need to protect something more valuable, keep looking for the monsters surge protectors, otherwise, your'e good.

This was ordered as a replacement. I was wrong!!! The one being replaced was actually good. I also bought a 10 foot cord strip. That one has a blue light switch that illuminates when plugged in. The 2 foot strip does not have a lighted switch. I wrongly assumed the strip was faulty when in fact it was not. Just the difference being an illuminated switch versus a non-illuminated one. I received a replacement before I actually sent the first one back. I'll keep both now and pay the price. Worth it. That may have been mentioned in the write-up and I missed it. Apologies and 5 stars to Jasco.

Works great and safe!
I got this because there's never enough outlets right next your your bed stand for the things you need to charge or get to. It is now super simple to plug in my phone charger and not have to dig around behind the nightstand. It adds just the right amount of length to be able to reach an outlet without having to wrap up a crazy long chord. The twistable outlet covers are really easy to use and a great safety measure for little ones or just in general. Super reasonable price.

I wish I would've chosen one with a little longer cord, but otherwise good product. The on/off switch is easy to flip, so dont put it under your desk, lol.

I’m so happy to find a surge protector/power strip with a REQUESTED cord length AND mountable option. I selected 2-foot cord in order to mount power strip to lower bathroom cabinet (rather than setting it near the outlet at countertop level - seems wrong to place it near a sink, but this is how bathrooms are designed for some reason.) Now, all hair appliance cords are off my bathroom counter! Bonus: USB’s available, which is nice to charge my watch in the bathroom, so I don’t forget it in the morning!

Was looking specifically for a flat plag- that changes with cord length- Why make it so complicated and waste my time and not have all of them with flat plug? ANSWER; BECAUSE IT IS BOUGHT BULK IN CHINA !!!
