Somewhat dim.

Bought for above a sink. Not as bright as I thought. Does not work as flashlight or lantern type light. Good quality if you just want cosmetic light under counter.

The light is not very bright.

I bought this for a shelf I have in a dimly lit corner of my living room. I keep my cds there and wanted something that will help me see the titles of the cds. It just isn’t bright enough, it’s more of an ambient light.

A very practical solution for extra lighting in the kitchen

Very practical, useful, I placed them under the kitchen cabinets but often I just grab one and use it when I need it somewhere else. The charge lasts quite a while as long as one doesn't leave them on permanently.

Problems when using rechargeable batteries

This light works fine for what I bought it for, however, I wanted to use rechargeable batteries. In putting the rechargeable Rayovac batteries into the light, seems they are just slightly bigger than standard AAA that fit snuggly. Due to the design of the battery holder, there is no way for the negative side spring contact to allow the rechargeable batteries to fit in. As a result, the unit bends and i doubt it will last long with the added stress needed to put the rechargeables in. Will not recommend it.

Incredibly versatile LED lights.

Incredibly versatile, portable, battery powered light wands. These are high quality and lasted an entire Summer of duty in my saddlebags (through vibration, weather and a few sets of batteries). I mounted them to the underside of my bag lids with double-sided Velcro tape. That allows them to be bag lights most of the time and emergency work lights (with handy stand) for road side repairs. They take up very little room (like two packs of Mentos) and have dead simple construction. Rechargeable batteries work fine. Two light settings preserve them when Max light isn't needed.

I own 3 and have them in my kitchen under the cabinets, I use rechargeable batteries and want to purchase several more cause I love these lights. I use them all year long and they are fantastic for power outages also. The batteries may need charging about once a month, it depends on how often they are used.
