Quality fixture

I have similar globe fixtures in the kitchen and bought this for the dining room. The ceiling is slanted and many other fixtures won't work in this application. They look great together.

fragile globe glass

Love this product but the globe glass is so fragile that it broke apart and arrived broken-- presumably during shipping and handling.....despite that it was shipped inside two thick boxes.

Mid Century Dream

I have been dreaming of these lights since we bought our mid century home. I bought this with the intention of putting it over the kitchen sink, but the scale was off. Instead it ended up in our bathroom. The light came packed extremely well and the globe was in perfect shape. Instructions were a bit dodgy (just go off the picture), but if you're familiar with any lighting installations you'll be fine. We had to cut the cord down about half way, but there is plenty of length for pendants over an island. The globe is the perfect milky white color and the metal pieces are glossy white. Take extra care when you slip the globe onto the pendant to be safe. It's perfect, I love it.

Nice

This is a nice, real glass fixture. Easy to install and looks great in my home office. Four stars because it has a slight infection in that it is not perfectly round. If you look at it closely the bottom of the globe is slightly teardrop shaped. it appears to be a manufacturing defect, but not enough that I would send it back. My wife noticed only after I pointed it out. Nevertheless, I would recommend this to anyone.

This is a great light. Goes well with our open concept kitchen-dining area. Wanted something with a mid-century vibe for our kitchen. Took a star off as the white cover at the top of the light is slightly warped and isn't exactly flush with the glass globe in one area. This is facing a corner so it's not obvious but if I had this in a more exposed space I would likely have returned it.

It isn't terrible and I can manage

The white on the globe isn't consistent. There are some areas where it is brighter than the others and there is a visible "seam" down the middle when light shines through. It isn't terrible and I can manage, but it is noticeable.

Easy, normal, installation. Very nice light

Simple, but nice light. Wife wanted this and it was cheaper than purchasing locally. Installed easily if you have every installed a light fixture. It's not clear in the pics but it DOES come with the white base plate to cover the wall recepticle

Looks great in a mid-century modern house

We put this fixture in a stairway of a house we are selling (well, over the stairway) and it looks great... it's a mid-century modern house and this fixture fits in perfectly with that vibe, and looks more premium than the Ikea fixtures we usually use. Easy to install, excellent product. Hope this helps.
