Good quality. Better looking than the plastic ones
After breaking our original one by accident, we purchased this one on Amazon to replace it. Very happy with the construction and the look. The price on Amazon was even cheaper than the store that we bought our original one from it. It also looks very nice and inviting on the counter. We now tend to drink more water because it’s there in front us. We would rather store our drinking water in glass too.

Just make it clear what size stopper this thing takes.
Arrived safely. I would have given 5 stars but I was unable to determine the exact size stopper this 3 gallon glass carboy needed. Maybe it was in the verbiage and I may have missed it. It needs to say CLEARLY " a 6.5 stopper will fit". I didn't find concrete info without converting mm's to inches to universal sizes (5.5,6,6.5,7, etc.). And I missed it the first time...bought a size 6.

I receive the package in good condition. The main use of this product was to ferment wort but instead ended storing some drinking water from the tap (drinking water supplied by a major metropolitan city). Before use, I rinsed this container with tap water and filled it with water overnight. The water from the faucet, at the time of this review, has a taste of chlorine and leave calcium residue after evaporation. That being said, I fill this container with drinking water and consume most of it. I Left about 1/2 inch of water inside the container. After a few days, the left over water had a different taste and this container has a fragrant smell. The smell was not foul and not familiar with the taste and smell so I disposed the left over water. Currently, I placed 3 gallon of water for a week to see if the taste and smell will disappear. This is the second time I put some water in this item for a few days, it still has that a taste not sure how to describe it. Like: It looks and feel durable. Take care of it as it a glass product even though it looks like it could take some punishment.

Fooled Me
It feels like good quality but it isn't. There were small bubbles in the glass. However, I was wiping it off with a kitchen towel and it shattered on me. Only used it twice.

Works great for water cooler
Excellent bottle for filling at the spring and placing on the water cooler. Much healthier than using the plastic water jugs. Only wish it wasn't as expensive, but the product is definitely top notch!
