This is my second pair of Georgia Boots. Although they are several years old, they have been only moderately used, and I was sad to see this happen. My older pair (10 years) are still wearable. I like the boots, but this should not have happened

Not Water Resistant at All

So the leather is decent quality and I spent a couple of days conditioning it before wearing in the field. The leather conditioned nicely but the boots leak Where the leather is attached to the sole. I know they are not advertised as waterproof, but any boot should have water resistance with the right conditioning. These have none. They are great if you live in Arizona but do not walk in any puddles with them and do not even think of wearing them in the woods in Michigan. A week after I bought them I went out and got a pair of Redwings.

Do not waste your money

Nice boot when it comes to looks but ordered this same boot three separate times each with about two days worth of wear and the sole of the shoe separates from the top on the sides of the boot. Poor quality unfortunately .
