Wow, pleasantly surprised!

I was cautiously optimistic about this conditioner. My 2c/3a hair is very thick both in strand and in density. It therefore needs moisture, but a lot of conditioners tend to weigh it down. I used this today with my (also new) triple treat shampoo. And wow. Nothing else changed in my routine, but my hair looks so good! Exactly what i needed! Also the scent smells expensive - and isn’t too strong!

Works great!

my hair was feeling like dry hay. I had terrible frizz and didn’t know what to do. After extensive research I learned what I was missing and this shampoo and conditioner combo was one of the top rated within my price range. After the first 2 washes I was shocked at how different my hair felt. Brushing in the shower was much easier, less breakage, and super soft. Smells great, doesn’t feel heavy, and works quick.

not my favorite

I purchased this product because I read many great reviews for it on a Facebook page that I'm in for curly hair. I personally was not a fan of this conditioner. It didn't have good 'slip' to it, so I didn't feel like it was helping to detangle and moisturize my hair as it should. My husband (who knows very little about hair products) also used it and told me he didn't like it because it didn't have a smooth and moisturizing feel to it like other conditioners we have tried for textured hair. Overall, it isn't the worst, but I will still be searching for a better conditioner for my very frizzy and curly, textured hair.

the best of the best

for the record, i have low-porosity 3A-3B curls, and i've never found a conditioner better than this one. i used it as a child, actually, and all these years later i decided to give it another go since i remembered loving it. and it most definitely stands the test of time. it leaves your hair silky, detangled, and quenched thoroughly without being heavy. post-shampoo, it transforms your hair almost instantaneously with application, and you could honestly probably get away without letting it sit for a few minutes (even though i do anyways). absolutely love this stuff, and will repurchase as long as they keep making it!

Controls static.

This conditioner is light, doesn’t weight my hair down and manages static. I can easily comb through my hair and it’s soft and silky. I find when I use the Giovanni Smooth as Silk Shampoo with the conditioner regularly the results continue to improve and there’s no buildup.
