Purr-fectly Glad!
My Mumzy has quite an imaginative mind. When she purchased these Glad kitchen bags, I naturally thought that they were only for the kitchen trash can. Boy!...was I ever wrong! Yes, she does indeed use them as such, yet she has used them for so many other things as well. She is cleaning out the garage now. One could say that it is a spring cleaning taking place...in the fall. Do not ask me as to why!...I am only the resident cat! I do not involve myself in such unnecessary matters. Although, I must say that the garage is looking quite wonderful. Now, back to the subject of the bags. She has used these bags as a cover for her brooms, in order to keep them clean and dust free. She has used them as storage bags for small carpets. She has also placed certain items in them,...enclosed some cedar balls, lavender bags, or moth balls within them, and then having closed the bag tightly, she has placed the bags in her closets and drawers in the garage: Storing them away for the season. Although, she has made certain that the bags are placed high above or are properly locked away so that my other pussycat cousins do not come near them. You know,...I have a pussycat cousin who ate the handle of a small plastic bag once. It was not a glad bag, it was a grocery bag. Well, of course, she got quite sick, and Mumzy had to take her to the Vet./Doctor. She is well now, but do you think that that pussycat learned her lesson?! I do not think so! This is why my Mumzy is so very careful with the plastic bags. Therefore, if you have pussycats or any other furry...or not so furry creatures,...you must be quite vigilent, and keep it away from them. The Vet./Doctor advised my Mumzy that some pets just do that: Not so intelligent as the act may be...Go figure! Plastic bags are also quite dangerous for children as well, therefore if one has either...children or pets, one must be quite careful. After all human adults are suppose to be responsible for the children and the pets. Although, I must say that some adults are not even responsible for themselves! But, then again,...I am just a pussycat, and this is my purr-sonal opinion! My Mumzy is purr-fectly glad with her Glad bags! Phffft! That was rather poetic...do you not think so?

Glad to get My Glad in a Large Quantity and Save!
If you've been using off brand or store brand kitchen garbage bags, give it up and get Glad at great Amazon discount prices. In all my years of purchasing on Amazon, I never thought about looking for household items and personal items like toothpaste, bar soap or deodorant! Then while doing my online Christmas shopping this year, i noticed one of these items, and I checked it out. Anything I put into the search engine was available. And almost all of it was on Free Super Saver Shipping. I started checking the prices against my regular discount store. Cheaper, cheaper, cheaper every time. And NO shipping! As long as I'm willing and able to store the extra, it's great. None of these items have an expiration date. And even if they did, they would be used before that time came. My favorite brands, cheaper, shipped to my door at no shipping charge, and always quickly. Amazon, you are becoming my EVERYTHING STORE!!! So I've been getting my favorite brands in these type items from Amazon for about a month now, and I couldn't be happier with the results. My bags arrived just the other day, so I'm set for a while. Now I've started looking for more items I can purchase in bulk so I can save more money! I always get great fast and free super saver shipping with Amazon!

What can you say about trash bags?
Well, these are pretty great. They fit the standard kitchen trash can size and wrap around the rim nice and tight. We use a plastic can with a lid that snaps on and opens with a top lever, to keep the dogs out and make it easy on the wheelchair user whose feet don't touch the floor. The dogs learned how to get in, but they can't get the bag out, or even tear it. The top seams that hold the handles are good and strong, and hold up even when the ancient senile one pulls the bag out of the trash can, drags it over twenty feet of linoleum and plywood, and throws it down the outside steps to make a point. (That point, we assume, being that he's senile.) The bags also have a nice fresh scent that keeps the trash from getting overwhelming, and makes the kitchen smell nice whenever a new one is first shaken out for use.

A Convenient Bargain
Most families have at least one or more trash cans that need to be lined and this product is the best way to do it. Glad has a well deserved reputation for quality and these are no exception. As with several other things now available through Amazon.com, it's less expensive than in the store and, if you're a member of Amazon Prime, is delivered free. Two things to note, these are not the very large garbage bags that some people use, these are a standard for the average trash container in a kitchen and you receive only one box, albeit a big one. Sure, you can buy these in a store but you'll pay more and have to bring them home. And, as with many other things in a certain class of product, paper towels, toilet paper, you needn't worry about buying more than you need as over time you'll use all of them.

Great quality, but better than what I needed.
I didn't realize from teh description that these were the stretchy extra-strength bags. I had these set up on Subscribe & Save, when the ones I was ordering changed pack sizes, I assumed these would be the same just with only one box rather than multiple. They are not the basic Gald tall kitchen bags I usually buy. They were priced well though and they work well. I'll have to check Subscribe & Save to see if my regular old Glad bags are available still and if they are any cheaper. If not, I'll stick with these.

Sizing is off!!
I literally bought this because the product picture said 61 cm and it was the only one I could find with the right dimensions and then it arrives and it’s smaller than that!!!
