Wrong Picture

I reported this photo as being incorrect when I received the item in March of 2011. The photo accurately represents the one I had purchased previously. The item I received has a gray brush area and is less substantial than the earlier version. That stated I like the brush (both versions) the bristles are not so long that they splatter nor do they hold too much liquid. I wanted two because I use it multiple times a day, usually just for olive oil on cookware but occasionally for meat or veggies, and liked to have a fresh one if the dishes weren't done yet. I keep it on a silicone spoon rest and the residual oil alone is usually all I need to prep a non-stick omelet pan. Update: This brush has been in use for 2 years now. The seam in the handle allows water in. This means that less than sparkling water leaks out when the brush is repositioned. I imagine this is the result of 2 years of dishwasher pressure but it is an issue. It's happened often enough now that I know to wrap a cloth around the seam in an effort to wick the water out before use.

The ease of using it the brush is also easy to hold and easy to clean and it bastes the food the right amount.

Great Quality!

Okay, so I'll confess....I was just a few dollars short of getting my $25 free super shipping savings; and so I bought this just so I didn't have to pay shipping. (Why pay shipping when I can get something for my money?) I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived. The quality is great. It is very sturdy. I was expecting something cheaply made for all the more I paid for it.

Easy clean, but not terribly efffienct.

Those two things go hand-in-hand—because it's silicone and easy to clean, sauces that you'd baste with or fats you'd brush on don't adhere to the bristles that well, so you've got to do a lot of back-and-forth dippin'. I have a synthetic brush one that i use for Serious Bastin', but this works Alright but not Amazing. 3 Stars!

Not as expected :(

Product arrived on time, but did not match the color description (gray) nor the picture used for the posted item. The color is listed to be gray, but both of the two items sent to me are actually red. I haven't used them yet, so I can't review the quality of the product. Slightly disappointed because it's not what I was expecting to get.
