Stippling Works Best
The color Mauvesicle is actually very peachy (like the photo) with a little bit of pink mixed in. I was hoping the actual product would be a dusty rose color. The formula is a light mousse texture, and applies with a large doe foot applicator. The formula gives the slightest cooling sensation on the cheeks (aka plumping action, but no visible plumping that I could tell). Although the sensation is mild, it is odd on the cheeks, and I’d prefer it without the cooling sensation. The shade is incredibly natural on me. I tried finger application, and it basically disappears with this method. I found that stippling with a brush works the best for a natural wash of color. It doesn’t dry down very well, so I prefer to add a little powder on top so the end result looks and feels more blended. If you have super pale skin, your color payoff results might be wonderful. I am in the “light” foundation category, but I still prefer something that offers a little more color payoff.

Great Container, Great Concept ...
The applicator fits tightly in the bottle: this means that when you pull it out, there is not an excess of product. It's just enough for a few dots on each cheek. The design is quite remarkable. And, the top screws on tightly. There is an appreciable "click" when you've tightened it enough. This way you know the product is genuinely closed and not being exposed to the air. This is also smart and a really nice touch. The container is larger than I expected and will last quite a while. Now, I didn't experience and plumping or lifting (that I could see). And this type of blush has a bit of a learning curve if you're used to powder blush. So be prepared to play around a bit (blending it can be a bit of a challenge at first). In general, the colors seems a little warm for porcelain skin. It translates as just a little orange-y on me. So, if Grande ever expands the colors here for something a little more complementary to pale skin, I'd be willing to give that a try. Good container design and concept! Recommended!

Natural Look
This blush provides a natural wash of color. The application is unique. It looks like lip gloss. There is a sponge doe foot applicator which provides a small amount of product. It is dotted on and then blended with fingers, a sponge or brush. The color is build able. There is a little coolness but I didn't notice any "plumping". Not that I wanted chipmunk cheeks. The shade is dubbed " mauvealicious". That is a missnomer. There is not a hint of mauve in it. It is a warm peachy pink shade. Looks pretty but is definitely warm. Nice product but I wish they had cooler tones and a true mauve.

I really like this! A lot! I’m 49 y/o and the skin on my cheeks is usually dry (sometimes flaky in the winter) which makes powder blush a disaster. This stuff has been great. I apply it immediately after foundation (or moisturizer if not wearing foundation) so that it immediately ‘melts’ into the skin. It isn’t that glittery, glistening finish that some products have... it’s a nice, soft natural wash of color. I have ultra sensitive skin and this hasn’t given me any issues at all. The applicator reminds me of that of a lipgloss- but I just dab that onto a sponge/blender to apply. The color is very pretty, natural, and would be flattering to most skin tones. A little goes a long way, so it’s going to last me a good while. I’ll definitely be buying more when I run out... no more powder blush for me. TIP- in a pinch this also works great in eyelid crease and on lips. Again, the best way I can describe it is a really pretty wash of color.

No plumping but perfect color.
The packaging is the beautiful, traditional Grande cosmetics style. The blush is the perfect color. Easy to use, but I would recommend taping to blend the color. If you rub the blush in, it starts to remove your foundation. I notice a slight tingling once I applied the product. Sadly, I did not notice any plumping.

Much easier to use than powdered blush
This product is my first liquid blush. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. To be honest, I’ve always skipped blush in the past because powdered blush was just too much for me. Didn’t matter how little I used, I always felt like it made me look silly. Admittedly, my expectations weren’t super high with this product. But! I was really pleasantly surprised. Turns out, liquid blush is infinitely easier to use and blend than powdered blush. Just a tiny little bit applied to the apples of my cheeks is super easy to blend. The overall effect is just a tiny little bit of color on my cheeks. Very subtle. I like it a lot. I didn’t notice any plumping at all, but I’m OK with that. My cheeks naturally resemble a chipmunk’s anyway, so I don’t feel like they need any help in the fullness department. Overall, I’m thrilled with this product. I’m never going back to powdered blush.

Beautiful color and easy to blend
I personally love powder blush more than liquid one but I was so excited to try this one. I ordered color "Mauvesicle' and it's a beautiful color just like the picture with peachy undertone. The applicator is big enough that you can easily apply it on your cheek. I was worried about if it's easy to blend it and it was! It doesn't dry fast so you can easily blend it with your fingers or even beauty sponge if you want to have natural and light finish. It has shiny finish which I prefer matte finish for blush as I apply highlighter on top of it but it's a great option for a natural look as it makes your skin so fresh. It doesn't last all day but definitely lasts longer than normal powder blush.
