Great, as long as it lasted...

I bought my pliers this January, and used them for fixing metal chains etc., especially old rosaries. I have a few other precision pliers, so I try to use the appropriate tool in each case. However, after only a few months of service, one of the jaws broke off. I understand that sometimes the forging process is inaccurate, therefore it is expected that a certain percentage of the products come out faulty. Since QQ can't be 100 percent accurate, a faulty tool can rarely go through. This said, I still think it's a great tool. Due to its amazingly thin profile it was very useful where other tools were useless.

Great pliers but not very durable.

Bought these in Oct 2019. Use them fairly frequently for small jewelry work. Nothing with very hard tensile strength just beading wire. After 2 years and a few months the one jaw completely snapped off. Didn't take much pressure to snap it. I was surprised, these say made in Italy but seem to be made of some form of more brittle steel. While they worked they were great, but I expect tools to last about 5-10 years for the price they ask. No better than the cheap Chinese ones.

I purchased these in July 2022, prong broke of in December2022

Great little pliers,but after only 5 months,a prong broke off, I feel that it had to be a weak area, so i decided to order another pair. I have wire cutters (2pair) and I really like the feel of these in my hand. I also ordered a pliers with the curve, hoping I have better luck.

Good for delicate work

I was building an armature for a miniature sculpting project using 24 gauge wire. I needed pliers that would allow me to manipulate tiny features. I bought these Hakko CHP PN-20 tweezer nose pliers and a pair of Xuron tweezer nose 450 pliers to see which I liked better. They are both good pliers and, for this project, I found myself lucky to be able to switch between them. I was initially looking for the pliers that were the smallest at the very tip of the nose. The Hakko pliers won on that front. The jaws are maybe 1.5 mm wide at the tip and each jaw is less than 1mm thick at the very tip. One jaw is slightly thicker than the other. The Xuron pliers are slightly bigger at the tip of the nose and have a longer jaw. The tip of the nose is about 2 mm wide. Each jaw is about 1mm thick at the very tip. Both pliers have well aligned jaws and a comfortable spring-loaded grip. That said, these are both delicate tools. You probably shouldn't use them on your Chevy engine block.

They feel great in my hand.

One could argue that pliers are pliers but you can definitely tell the difference between a great pair of pliers and shoddy ones. These are GREAT. Don't let the cheap price fool you. I love them so much that I hardly use some of my other tools. You'll be happy with these

Small pliers for extracting broken headphone jacks

I bought these pliers to extract the broken headphone jack from the phone. I've tried various mehtods before, starting from gluing pen cartridge and using small tip twizers. The part of the jack which was stuck was the small metal tip without plastic shelling, so glue and the extractor from iFix It wouldn't work. These pliers were too big to fit to the jack tip. I had to grind the tip and flattened (it has a sloped tip) so they fully fit. Also pliers have hard to gripping something because of smooth inner surface. So I had to use a file and roughen inner side of the pliers. After those modifications I was able to get the broken jack. I'm putting 4 mostly because of how slippery the pliers are. They even would slip if you try to grip your finger nail.

Tips warped literally right away

I used this to try and grip and pull out a stuck 3.5mm tip in my laptop's headphone jack. Immediately, and I truly mean on the first attempt at gripping, the ends of the pliers bent. They were also too thick and stubby to fit in properly, anyway, though this isn't a fault with the pliers. On top of this, they're horrifically overpriced (at least on Amazon).

Broke during first use

The tool broke the first day. I was using 20g wire as the tool was I rented and it snapped right off. Terrible
