I ran it through a couple of cycles to get rid of the new smell. Then it was just a matter of adjusting the darkness setting. Works fine

Nice toaster

It does what it is supposed to do: toasts. No bells or whistles and the items actually toasts nice and evenly. It looks exactly like the picture. My only complaint is that it did smell like melting plastic the first time I used it, but that dissipated quickly.

Could have been a great toaster but with parts missing I just asked for a refund and bought another one locally

Crumb catcher is a bust

Overall, the toaster does the job. Our only complaint is the little notch for the crumb catcher plate is not very effective. We used electrical tape to keep the plate shut otherwise all the crumbs will just fall out.

It Makes Toast

It does the job fine and I like being able to only toast bagels on one side. It's smallish, neat and unobtrusive. One thing that is a logistical difficulty is the shortness of the cord. I have a kitchen with a lack of electric outlets so had juggle toaster oven (again with short cord), coffee grinder, MW and numerous other small appliances. I don't use extension cords. Another 2ft. of cord would have put the toaster within reach of two other outlets. I don't buy into the idea that shorter cords are safer - the lack of placement flexibility forces compromise leading to other potential safety problems in the kitchen.

It works great! No hassle

It's easy to use. It has two separate control functions - that really helps as not a lot of energy is being wasted. The only thing one should know is that it takes up a little bit of more space than expected. But if you have a spacious place then it shouldn't be an issue. Overall, it has been a wonderful experience with the product so far. It has been just one month since we've bought this. I would conclude by saying that buy an insurance plan along with the item - that is the smart thing to do as my last toaster broke down in just two months and it wasn't even used heavily.
