Hello, It arrived like this. Great format and design in the advertisement. Easy to use. But for what I paid for and my experience so far. I don't believe that the quality matches it's price. Also this isn't something I would saute in. I'm picky when I spend money and I thought I would get a little bit better for what I spent for it. What a Bummer for me.

Not disappointed
I needed a new rice cooker and decided to get this when it was on sale, even though I didn’t need an entire crockpot. I’m extremely happy with the purchase and it almost cooks like a pressure cooker. It’s very light weight and super easy to clean!

Mostly works, some design flaws makes it cheap
It works well for rice, but not very well for soup (it does not get to boil), so not sure what kind of soup it is supposed to cook. Slow cook and hot serial functions also seem to work, we are using this almost every day. The pot inside seems to be good quality, it is painted/coated on the outside and seems to have good quality non-stick surface on the inside, making it easy to wash. Cons: The water catch seems to be too small, fills up quick and overflows. The rubber gasket around the door holds lots more water, and is not removable, so makes cleaning a bit harder, seems like some corner they cut with the design here. The button that open the door feels very cheap, and has to be pressed exactly right for the springs to lift the door. If not, you are going to be using both hands, and the escaping steam WILL burn your hands. We have had that steam burn several times before learning to not try to lift the door when the spring does not lift it. This is another corner they cut. Overall, if this was more expensive that what we paid for it (around $50CAD) I would have given it two stars, but since this is cheap, then it is worth it since it does work well for what we use it for, which is primarily making rice.

Found My Replacement Multi Cooker
I had a Krups multi cooker for about 14+ years, but bit the dust after that many years. I just purchased this Hamilton Beach Multi Cooker and it is AMAZING. I cooked a roast last night, Tuesday January 17th, 2023. Prep time to cut the vegetables ( Potatoes, an Onions) was about 5-10 minutes. I put all the ingredients (Potatoes, Onions, Beef Stock, Worcestershire (Lea & Perkins), Soya Sauce (Kikkoman) into the multi cooker, selected “Slow Cook HI” and pressed “Start”, and the automatic timer set for 3.5 hours. Once the cooker was done, I tried the roast, and it was so so Tender, and Scrumptious, and so Delicious. I can’t say enough of how good this Hamilton Beach Multi Cooker works. I JUST LOVE IT.
