The sizing on these is entirely illogical.
Who in the world would make underwear in a size different than pants? Oh, Hanes would. The sizes don't make any kind of sense at all. Well, unless you wear a size 5 pants. Size 5 makes sense, as a small, pant size 4-6. Size 6 however, is a medium, or 8-10. Size 7 is Large, pant size 12-14. Size 8 is an XL, pant size 14-16, and size 9 being pant size 16-18 and 10 being 18-20. WHAT. IN. THE. ACTUAL. BEEEEEEEP. So, being a normal human who would assume that they'd fit the pant size and seeing no indication otherwise on the listing, I ordered these in a size 8. I wear pant size 6-8, so that makes sense, right? April Fools! Says Hanes. I have size 14 underwear that I can't fit. Fortunately, all is not lost. Though the package calls them a 14-16, that's also a lie - they run small. They're more like a size 12, and they do fit my teen. Basically, they run both large and small at the same time. They're more effective than I thought. The listing lacks clarity on whether or not they can be used alone or if they're only suitable as a backup to keep your clothing clean. I wouldn't recommend them on a heavy day (unless you can stay home all day) but they are absorbent, and they offer a moderate level of protection. The waterproof layer doesn't extend all the way up the front or back, but they can hold a normal flow for a standard work / school day. Other than the absolutely illogical sizing, they work as intended. Still, I'm really frustrated that I had to order them to figure out that the sizing is nonsense.

Fabric does not contain cotton
I bought these specific panties because the website description says they are made of cotton, polyester, and spandex. When I received the package, I saw only polyester and spandex listed. I am going to try wearing them anyway and see how they work out.

that price though!
i've tried probably 6 different brands of period panties now, including heavily advertised ones and off-brands - some i like, some not so much. these fall into the 'ones i like' category. i really like them. they fit like normal numbered sized unders, like stand Hanes and their competitor that's somewhat fruity. i knew i could wear a 7 or 8 in those, but since i am typically bloated around that time - i went with the 8. they fit as i expected - somewhat of a hipster fit. the fabric is pretty synthetic - definitely a poly blend with some stretch. there is no cotton in the panty but the absorbant part is. these are a moderate, not really meant for a heavy day solo. for me, period panties have always been used as a backup in case things go wrong and for overnight. these are good for all that, as well as those first days of spotting and waiting. they suggest that you need to rinse them before throwing them in the wash. i find the easiest way to do this is to just step into the shower in them. because these are for lighter days but also super absorbant you can wear them every day for leavy bladders as well. they don't go all the way up the back, but they go up a good ways to help protect you. these are easily comparable to one of the ones that's always in my feed, at a fraction of the price.

So comfortable!
Edit: I have worn these through a couple of monthly cycles now and am really liking these for the moderate and lighter days. If I want to wear them on a heavier day then I need to plan to change them during the day. I haven't tried any other brands of period underwear so don't have much to compare these to in that aspect, but I am really liking these and will probably buy some more at some point. Original Review: These are so comfortable. If I think about it I can definitely tell that I am wearing them, as they feel a little bit like I have a thin pad in, however, most of the time I don't notice them or think about it. I like that the inside of the brown ones is black because it will help prevent staining, even if the hem is still brown. Underwear sizing never makes sense to me. I ordered the size 9, which I thought might be way to big, but they actually fit nicely. I am generally an 8 in pants, which translates to a size 6 in underwear, but I never wear as small as a 6. I also hate really tight underwear, so maybe it's not incorrect sizing as much as the fit that I like. Idk. I did a test with water in one pair and it took almost ¼ cup of water before it was on the other side. I couldn't tell if it was wicking through the seams on the sides, or if it was soaking through, but it started getting wet first around the edges and not in the middle. Since most women only leak 1/8 – 3/8 cups of blood each period, I'd say these will be good for any moderate day.

Feels like a diaper
The back part of the pad is huge and is so wide - the panties don't grab under your butt - the whole thing slides up. Its horrible.

Thick
Double layer, thick fabric. Elastic, soft too. So far no leaks although I have use them with a pad, so not very sure without it. I have use different brands, and this is one of the best, although this one has a horizontal line right in the middle of the back, that is a little uncomfortable since I feel like the underwear is falling down but in reality is the design. That line also is visible through my scrubs. I asked for a size 10 thinking it was going to be as regular pants size but when it came it is size XXL. I am size M, but actually I like it that big, they are huge so they cover everything and are not too tight on the womb. They are not too breathable for summer, but good for the other seasons. I will use them daily since I also have incontinence.
