They Survived working at a nursery durring Christmas tree season.
I work at a tree nursery, and we go through things like gloves and boots more so than many other trades or professions I know. Everything we handle is wet, dirty, heavy and rough. During Christmas season, it gets too cold to use those cheap disposable work gloves with the rubber paint coating, so I wanted something to keep my hands from turning to icicles, but would also be more rugged than a standard pair of cold weather gloves. Being waterproof was a MUST due to the fact that we work rain or shine, snow or sleet, in fact, it seems like some people prefer to tree shop in the pouring rain... And a wet tree will soak you to the bone in seconds when you have to hug it and manhandle it and put it on the roof of a car. Pros: IT SURViVED THE SEASON and I still use them for stuff. I think they will last several more season. The only problem I had with the durability was when I was in a rush and used my gloved hands to try and move a chainsaw blade that was gummed up (the saw was off duh, it was safe), and in my haste I gripped a sharp tooth just right and sliced through the outer layer of one of the fingers of the glove. I noticed that the inside of the glove appears to be latex or some other rubbery water resistant layer, either way even with the hole I was still nice and dry. Just put a little duct tape over it to make sure it didn't leak. Its a TON warmer than the cotton/rubber paint ones we are used to. WASHABLE, my normal disposable gloves can be washed, but this never seems to get them clean, they always end up stinking up to high heaven in a short amount of time. Cons: Grip is good, but not the best when you compare it to the disposable rubber grip. But this leather palm grip is enough that it works fine. Hard to do small tasks like tying knots, no surprise here. Not as warm as I had hoped, on a cold day (12 Degrees for example), these are better than nothing and certainly better than what I still use, but warmth wise I Was hoping for more. I frequently found myself pulling my fingers out of the finger parts and using the glove more like a mitten when I Wasn't using my hand for anything.. Still as I said, these are far warmer than normal work gloves, and went a long way to preventing the usual frostbite rash I get on my hands from the cold and wet conditions. Final verdict - I would happily buy these again for the same or similar purposes, or as part of a bugout kit that might need winter work gloves you can count on. My advice is, if these can survive one season at my job, they will likely be in great condition for the average person for years and years. Just don't expect to use these for winter sports... These are cold weather work gloves... Not something you use for a trip across the north pole :)

Good winter barn glove
Been using these for two winters. They are nice for horse stable chores in all but the very coldest weather. Not too bulky and the stitching has held up well.

Near perfect for work outside in zero.
These are the best you'll find. I am reviewing the size 10, but I also have an 11. I decided to follow their advice about snugness, and they're correct. This fit a tad "snugger" than the 11, and I wasn't sure at first, now they're broken in, and I couldn't be happier. I work outside, every day, in Wisconsin, with...well, my hands, and yeah, they still get cold, but not like others I've tried. Unless you get an electric pair for much more, these are going to be the best in a work situation where you need some dexterity. They've kept my hands as happy, and thus my general attitude, as good as can be expected in zero and below. I do wish I'd had these during the winter of '13-'14. Still, if you do work outside, keep some of those disposable hand warmers close. No matter which glove you choose for the application I've described, that's simply a no brainer. And get 'em snug, they will break in. Use the hand chart on their web page, print it out, and plop your hand on it.

Great work glove
I am a telecom tower technician and I need work gloves that are warm, waterproof and still have decent dexterity. I am impressed as these definitely have great dexterity (which is tough to find in work gloves) and are absolutely waterproof. I have not had the chance to put them to the test in extreme cold weather scenarios but so far they hold up. The leather palm holds up surprisingly well to the abuse and the tips so far are holding up as well. As a roping glove they are fantastic. I have grip and can work with the worst knots. The sizing seems to be right on, but take note that I ordered a size down knowing that a leather glove will stretch a bit and I was worried about dexterity loss in the fingertips. They were definitely a bit tight at first but have broken in very well. IMPORTANT NOTE: In my industry the gloves come off about 30 times an hr so I often have gloves that the inserts end up coming out and are impossible to get the fingers back into a useful setting to quickly get back to work. No worries as these as the insides do not come out so pull em off and get it done. These shipped fast and easy. I truly am happy and highly recommend these gloves.

Bought a second pair
I have small hands and needed a good quality pair of gloves that could handle my farm life while keeping my hands warm this winter. I had a very hard time finding a pair that were small enough to be snug on my hands while actually using them! Many of my other pairs fit at first, but once I started actually doing any work my fingers would slip down and there would be that terrible gap between the tips of my fingers and the tip of the glove, making things like opening doors or latches difficult. Not these gloves! They stay snug. They are water resistant. I have not intentionally dunked my hand in the water bucket to test them out, but working in the snow my hands have stayed dry and mostly warm. I liked them enough to purchase another pair since I plan to work these gloves hard.

Best cold/wet weather gloves I have purchased by far.
I'm a utility lineman in Michigan and we've have a brutal couple of months with sub-zero temps, snow and wind one day and nearly 60 degrees the next with cold drizzles in between and these are the best gloves for the season I have bought by far. Waterproof? Yes. Warm? Yes. Durable? YES!! I have spent $20 more on Mechanix winter waterproof and other similar gloves and they can't even hold a candle to these. Those other brands would fall apart with any REAL work done in them (like every other Mechanix gloves). Your hands would sweat and the liner would stick to your fingers and pull the glove inside out and would be impossible to get your fingers back in. The season isn't over yet but after 3 months of heavy use, there are no seam splits, cuts or liner slips. My hands don't sweat and they're easy on/off. The touch screen feature is for junk but I don't even care about that.

Excellent winter gloves
Good gloves. Better than normal insulation and much warmer than most . I have been using them for 5 years now and just bought another pair.
