Turns on all night

Can not get it out of the dusk to dawn mode. Otherwise, it is a nice unit but not a motion sensor light. Very frustrating device. Update: I contacted the seller and they were extremely helpful, few things to try which failed. They then sent a new unit without requiring me to return the old device. I have changed the rating to a 4. It would have been a 5 without the problem. The unit is very well built but they do have a quality control problem.

Couldn’t get it out of dusk-to-dawn mode

I unfortunately had to return this product. There are ways to toggle modes for the light to turn on between dusk-to-dawn or by motion detection. I wanted it to only turn on with motion detection. It would only stay in “motion detector” mode once (motion triggered it to turn on, followed by turning off after a set time), and then when it sensed motion a second time, it would turn on and stay on until morning. I emailed customer support, and tried a couple of their recommendations, but they didn’t work, and they were out of suggestions. I even replaced my unit once, and the replacement unit did the same thing. So I’m thinking it may have something to do with the location I placed it (small, enclosed porch). Maybe the intense brightness reflecting from the walls (this light is super bright) interfered with the photosensor...? I have no idea. But it didn’t work out for me unfortunately.

Good Product!

I need to install a motion security light to my garage. The problem is at the top area of the garage door, there is no switch box. This item supply with a base and with its light weight, I can DIY very easy. Please note that other security light may quite heavy. It is very dangerous that you stand so high on a ladder, one hand hold the light and the other hand hold the driver with the screw. Procedure as follow: A.) Get the electric wire out from the garage; B.) Mount the base; C.) Connect the wire to the light; D.) Mount the light on to the base; E.) Turn it on. SO EASY! The light start working on May 22, 2020. Let me check how long will it last.

Does not meet my particular needs

Light arrived today. Opened box and found it is not what I expected. Would be great for someone else. I have another light from this company I am very happy with. With this one the light does not depress enough. It would light up my neighbor's yard more than the narrow area I want to light. The light head is very large, about 10 inches it appears. Also, this unit does not have a place to connect a ground wire. I am returning this unit.

Light stays on and will not stip working.

Turns on the first time fast but while you are moving under the light it turns off and takes longer then expected to turn back on even while moving an object in front of it.

Nice and Bright

Bought this to replace my motion light that went out, it sticks out a little further than I was expecting, but it lights up the walkway extremely well. I just wish it had the option to be on at night on as a dim light until motion is censored and then lights the walkway up like its day.

Defective in less that 1 year. Does not turn off.

The media could not be loaded. I have the sensor completely blocked with fabric and all the sensors turned down to the lowest setting. The light goes on with no motion and does not turn off. I emailed manufacturer and was advised of the trouble shooting steps listed below. None of those factors apply in my case. I purchased the light in Sept 2020 and was working properly for approximately 6 months. Now I have to keep the switch off for the light. In the email received from Home Zone Security, I was advised to reach out through Amazon for resolution. The return window has passed and leaving a review is my only option at this point. The video I have attached shows the light does not turn off at the lowest setting and the sensor is blocked. I see many other comments with this same issue. Do not waste your money on this light as I did. It looks good but is useless as a sensor light. Thank you for reaching out to Home Zone Security! To answer your question, Other factors that can affect the sensor can be heat sources like an air conditioner, vent, or furnace exhaust. Also, if the sensor is in a direction facing a light reflecting object. Another thing you could try is adjusting the LUX knob to the moon and decrease the sensitivity and timer down to test the difference. If you continue to have problems please reach out through your order history in your Amazon account and we will find a resolution. Once again I am asked to reach out through Amazon order history. I have tried this option and each time I receive message that this item is not returnable. I am left with a product that stopped working after six months and manufacturer repeatedly provides the same resolution to the problem. I don’t have ac, furnace or vent exhaust in the area and motion sensor is completely blocked and it turns on and doesn’t go off. All knobs are at lowest setting. Going through order history is not an option as item is not returnable. After receiving message item is not returnable there aren’t any other steps as an option. So how do I get help?
