I hate flip top lids

I use this as a trash can in my bathroom. I hate flip top lids, so this is my solution. The long, skinny shape of the bucket helps hide my bathroom trash without the annoyance of touching a trash lid. The handles are perfect for holding the garbage bag in place. The metal surface stays clean-looking longer than plastic surfaces. I believe it's waterproof, as you can see a thick line of clear caulking on the inside seams of the bucket. That little bit of unattractiveness would be my only criticism.

Leaks, don't use with live plant

Don't recommend for live plants with water and soil, leaks water through the seam...if this is for a container or faux plant then it is strong and good looking

Made a great patio ashtray.

I wanted something to have for my husband's cigarette butts that would not be an eye sore out on the patio. This fit the bill. Filled it half way with sand and viola, a classy ash tray that doesn't look like an ashtray unless you are standing right beside it looking unto it. Would make an attractive rustic planter too for the deck or patio.

Great for wrapping paper storage

Purchased to use for wrapping paper storage. My one concern was whether it would be tall and heavy enough to support the weight of long wrapping paper rolls but it is working just fine even with a couple bigger rolls. It looks nice too.

Purchased this pail for my wedding to hold sparklers. It arrived with a broken handle, and there was no time to return. It served its purpose for the night, but it is very poor quality.

Fantastic vessel ...

Have got to admit this is the perfect size vessel for anywhere I want to place it. Filled with sand and a garden stake or two, during the holidays there was pine boughs and ornaments, and on a rainy day the perfect spot for the wet umbrellas! Fast shipping and well constructed - yay!
