Great product

My original watering controller broke down and this replaced it perfectly. Word to the wise, take a picture with your phone as to how the color wires connect to the proper screws. Use this as a guide and installation will be a snap!

would recommend this to anyone

Bought this to replace an existing Hunter control that was originally installed when the house was built in 1992. Problem with the programming in it required a replacement. Stayed with Hunter because quality of the old system. Well pleased with the new control and the features that are built into it.

Perfect

I had the same model for over 15 years and it was finally not working properly. Got the same model as a replacement and it had some minor cosmetic improvements and had much better insturctions. I was able to remove the old one and hook up the new one. Took a photo of the old connections and with the various colors on the cables being the same hooking up the new one was simple. Matching all the old setting was easy. Tested the stations and everything was perfect.

Love this controller

The Hunter X-Core Outdoor Irrigation Controller is a very good, easy to use Controller. I do Handy Man jobs and had worked on irrigation systems that used this Controller. I was so impressed that I removed the controller on the system at my home, purchased the XC800 X-Core 8-Station Controller and installed it on my system. Impressive.
