The little one can fall off easily

I don't like that the 1/4 and 5/15 are very shallow and when sliding it forward to adjust it's easy to get them too far forward and then they fall off expecially since I use it every day all day it seems to be wearing pretty fast the main shaft needs to be made of slightly harder steel cause I am already seeing signs of it failing don't get me wrong I am a Industrial technician this is my favorite driver I use it every day all day long so the wear is to be expected and several times the small bit on the tip has fallen off quit a few tomany times lately! I figure I'm going to have to buy another. Or get a different type cause for the price they are not worth it the dewalts are as good if not better better quality just easyer to loose and not as convenient! Plus with these you don't need a extension

hvac must have

I have decades working in HVAC this tool blew my mind. 11/32 gets deep for condenser fan change outs. does all the blowers, compressor, panels. I seriously do not want them and even dread for them to change anything about this at all because I do not believe it is improvable and could only get worse. I find every single thing about this tool 100 percent useful/needed. It might be a nice idea to make a smoother vanadium steel version of this yet still strong enough for impact. that would probably make the pieces slide in and out easier.

This is a great little tool.

I wanted a set of hex nut drivers that would stay all together so I would never loose one... This does the trick, and it's a Klein, so you know it's very well made. Using it as a bit holder works well too, the magnet is pretty strong.

You have all the most common sizes all together.

I typically only use the 3 smaller sizes where I work. But it’s good to have them all together and and ready to go. It’s easy to change sizes.

Nearly Nobel-Level Genius

Klein being Klein, they put thought into this tool. All sockets nest on one hex shaft, making it easier to not lose one or more when changing sizes. The rare-earth magnet seems really strong, strong enough to retain what might be driven with the 1/2". I wish they'd designed it so sockets could be changed without having to disconnect the shaft from the impact driver, but mebbe that'll happen later.

excellent idea but falls short

Great idea but after some heavy use, sockets tend to slip up and down and magnetic tip has come off and been lost. While still usable it is not as effective as when first purchased.

Great utility and rigidness.

Probably my favourite widget out of my toolbag. It makes my HVAC service job so much easier now that I can flip chuck sizes on one rod instead AND use it with my impact drill instead of needing to carry several nut drivers in a pouch. I guess I got one of the better end-products because the magnet tip is still there after heavy use, unlike the common theme I've noticed in some of the previous reviews. However, it's only deserving of a four-star product because you can get it with the handle for $10 cheaper at Home Depot. It's kind of a bummer I didn't buy it there instead because I just wanted to get this in my hands ASAP, which is why I'm still happy to have it with me.

Weak magnet, bits slip too easily on shank

Works fine in a pinch, seems durable, but not practical for use in trades. Magnet sucks, bolts or lags longer than 1" fall out of the head too easily. Bits slip off the head too easily as well as down the shaft too easily; so whichever way you stick in in your pouch you're likely to lose a bit in there or have it stay on the bolt when you pull out of a tight spot at a bit of an angle. Do not recommend for professional use. Klein should know better.

Lemon?

To be clear I'm usually pro Klein tools in most hand tool scenarios. However, when I purchased this impact rated socket, everything out of the packaging looked great. Upon the first use with the 5/16 attachment, taking out a screw the magnet came out with the screw to be lost forever. Very sad, as it doesn't serve myself much purpose without the magnet.
