As soon as I opened the plastic bag the comforter was packaged in, this terrible odor permeated the room. I left the package open for a few days to air out but the smell is still awful; not even sure how to describe it. I did lay it out on my bed along with the two European shams and decorator pillow I purchased and I love the look, feel, and size of the comforter; as it is long enough on the sides for coverage. However, I quickly removed it from the bed so that the smell would not remain on the bed/mattress. I will try to air it out outside, but sadly, I may need to return the entire purchase.

I was worried to purchase this because some of the reviews said it shed and didn’t fit but I had no issues and it looks great! Just wish it was a little softer.

Absolutely Love It
The comforter is light enough to not make you super hot, but heavy enough to give you a little weight which is super comfortable for me. The comforter just hugs you. I also love the design and quality of the comforter I gave my room that farmhouse style look that I was going for, I’ve also washed it once since I got it, and nothing changed with the overall quality of the comforter really happy with the purchase

We really like it! (Update: now, it’s ok)
Update: 4/27/22: I washed the comforter on normal bedding wash settings on my washer. It shredded like crazy, which I knew it would cause you can literally pull the fringe things out with your hand. No big deal to me. I saw other reviews that said they’re comforters messed up in the dryer. Mine did not. I dried it on the “efficicient energy” setting and on low heat. I had to run that cycle like 5 times before it would fully dry. It did not mess up. Only thing I don’t like about it, is the shedding. It’s currently not on our bed as we don’t know if we wanna put it back on cause we know we’re gonna wake up with lint and fringes from the comforter all on us. The shedding is kinda unbearable. I went over the entire backside of the comforter with a lint roller and I still wasn’t able to get everything. It also wasn’t as soft after the wash either. I really wanna love it but it just sheds entirely too much. We really like it! It’s thick for cold weather. It’ll probably get hot in the summer but we don’t mind. As you can see the other side of it is like a cream color. No big deal. We also got the mellanni sheets from Amazon and they’re literally like hotel sheets, they pair really well. The comforter is a tad bit rough but I think that’s just cause it’s new. Not sure how it will wash but I hope it doesn’t get damaged. Overall we’re very satisfied.

I love the look and feel of the comforter. Just fits the king mattress with enough drape to cover it. Will see how cozy it is tonight for a cold winter night!
