Great blower just needs a lil grease to make it quiet!

Very noisy lil blower! Was going to return this so i tryed one last effort before returning. I pulled the prop out and took out the two screws. Pulled the armature out and greased the two contact points being careful not to loose the plastic washers and bushings. Put it all back together now it runs like a dream, days at a time. This inexpensive lil blower is now the best quiet lil blower! Im so glad i didnt return this. Wish they did this when making it, id gave 5 stars but definitely worth 4 after greasing!

Works well but NOT SILENT

Says it is silent but far from it. I replaced a truly silent one I had installed 10 years ago. Made practically no noise. This one you can hear all over the house.

Not what I was expecting.

I ordered this specifically because it was advertised as quiet. Turns out, one man's quiet is another man's noise. To give it it's due, this thing moves a lot of air. In fact, I'm going to keep it, mount it in a sheet of 1/2 in. plywood, and use it as a 'portable' exhaust fan for my basement workshop. But, quiet this thing is not. I was planning to use it as a fan in a finished room where it would be about 4 ft. from where I would be sitting. No way would I be able to tolerate the noise this fan makes for an hour, let alone half a day . The fan is moving so much air, through a six in. tube, that the noise of the wind-shear of the blades makes a constant howl. This is probably my fault. This fan may be well adapted for its intended use. I was going to use it for something that, I suspect, was not its intended use. It may well be "quiet" compared to other in-line booster fans, but it was not quiet for the use I had in mind. So, pay attention to what I've said here: I'm not trashing the device...I'm saying I probably got the wrong thing for my intended use.

Ventilateur super efficace, très puissant. Il est super bruyant. Je dois mettre le son de la télévision deux fois plus fort qu’à l’habitude lorsque le ventilateur fonctionne.

Decent for the price

Would reccommend for the price, dont try to add any accessories, is a good air circulator for in tent and pointed up and down against the corner, saves you the need for a bunch of fans for the about the same price.
