GOING back to ones in link below. Yes, I replaced them fairly often, but these became literally like wearing thin lumpy pancakes in less than a month. SOOO....HARD NO on these. And I just wear them to get mail, take the dog feet from front door. I replaced them often. I just need slippers inside and to take my dog yards from my place to a patch of grass, get mail. I don't WEAR them all day. FOR MY PURPOSES of quickly sliding into a loose slipper, fine. I decided to try these in BLACK, as slippers can look dirty fast, especially just going outside to grab mail, take my dog yards from my door to a patch of grass. MY THOUGHTS SO FAR and I WILL UPDATE. PROS: LOOKS - THESE look much nicer. I especially like they're black, with a bit of satin, compared to the GRAY ones in the link above I always got. FIT: Fit is really similar as they're shaped similarly and have a rounded toe and are a clog/mule. Having worn this style of ISOTONER for YEARS, and I wear an 8.5 in shoes, but have a fairly narrow foot, the 8.5-9 is the one I get. It can feel SMALL for maybe a day, but TRUST me, THEY STRETCH FAST. PRICE - THESE BOTH usually run around 24-25 DOLLARS. I got these because they were marked down to 15 and change, offered in black, and are also isotoners in style I like. SO SCORE. IF YOU CAN GET THESE ON SALE, I would say worth checking out. CONS: SUPPORT - the other Isotoners (again, see link above) would initially feel quite a bit more supportive when I first got them, but they would flatten within a day or two, so the support difference is hardly huge. After a few days, weeks of just wearing around the house, to get the mail, these SQUISH down to like a VERY THIN, lumpy pillow. If you're looking for arch support, um, no. They ARE comfy, as easy to slide foot in, doesn't feel like I'm walking on cardboard, but NOT SUPPORTIVE AT ALL, especially after a day or two. They do feel big, not tight on my feet, especially after an hour or so of wearing, but they don't FALL off or anything because the top of the slipper is only about an inch from my ankle, so they stay on. BOTTOMLINE: They're comfortable, if not supportive, and they will be especially great in winter (by winter, I will want another two pair and will watch for another sale!) when I tend to wear thick socks even inside. I don't expect them to last more than a season, no slippers I get do. ANY slippers that are basically cloth, foam just don't hold up, especially as I alternate two pair and they are what I wear DAILY. If you're looking for really supportive, sturdy indoor/outdoor footwear, I would look at sketchers or easy spirit slip ons, especially for the coldest, dampest weather.
