Pretty fountain and good price, a little compromise on quality.

I really like this little fountain. It's very pretty and imparts a pleasant peaceful feeling. Pump is quiet and water movement provides a soft trickling sound, perfect for a quiet environment. If you want a lot of water noise, this isn't your fountain. But it does have a very soft, pleasant water sound. I did have an initial issue with the flow of water being a little flawed, where the bottom flower was leaning out over the edge of the reservoir and sometimes (but not all the time), the water would drip off the flower outside the fountain. I just readjusted the flowers a little bit and eliminated that problem. The only other negative is that it does appear the screws that mount the flowers to the plate that fits down into the top of the fountain are rusting and I haven't had this fountain very long at all, so that's a little disappointing. But the price is low, so it makes sense that you might sacrifice a bit of quality for price. The needed adjustment to ensure water doesn't flow outside the fountain reservoir and the rusting screws bring my review down from 5-stars to 4.

If you are looking for a fountain that is aesthetically pleasing to look at - this is your fountain. If you are looking for a fountain that makes water sounds - do not purchase. I bought this with the intention of hearing a quiet trickle - not even large amounts of sound...just a trickle - and got nothing. I hung onto it for about a week to see if it grew on me. Watching water run is visually stimulating and relaxing. But I ended up returning it, as it did not fit what I was looking for.

Well... it is pretty but it doesn't make any water sound I wanted to hear. I bent flower petals and make the base tilted a bit then hear little bit. I added my own nicer river rocks instead.
