Not Her Favorite Food Toy

My rescue Chihuahua mix gives up easy with food toys so I always put in pieces to fall out when she taps it. I put in a long piece of chicken jerky and she just chews the ends off the treat and ignores the toy once the easy bits fall out. I tried peanut butter but she’ll only lick it off the surface. It’s a little too big for her, she can’t carry it around and it is difficult to clean the inside part out, but otherwise a good toy.

The media could not be loaded. Sweet Charlie Brown (Shepherd mix ) loves this toy! It’s chewy yet very durable, and the textured bumps on the outside are fun because it makes it bounce in all directions and probably massages his mouth when biting on it. Once I fill it with treats, I give it a little toss and he chases it around picking it up dropping it again and looking inside to get the goodies out. It’s stimulating for him and he gets treats too! Keeps him busy and occupied because he can play by himself knowing that he will get the reward inside.

Busy For A Long Time !

Koa gets bored easily and goes through his toy basket often. I know he loves peanut butter. You put the peanut butter inside and its really difficult to get out, so Koa stays and works on it for a long time. Super perfect when I go out on errands and Koa wants to come with..., perfect distraction for me to get out the door! Workn great and super durable so far !

Jolly Pets Jolly Treat dispensing toy

I bought one for my pug to keep him busy. I came back and bought two more the the other two. My dogs love these balls. It is a delicious treat with peanut butter in side the ball. Made in USA is a tie breaker for me.

NOT FOR CHEWING

We have a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix. This is our third Jolly Ball product, and the third one we’ve had to return. Within five minutes our dog chewed two of the nubs off this toy-and I had put peanut butter in it! I am disappointed because he loved them while they lasted. Even supervised while we played with him he was able to tear these toys. Maybe these are best for an older dog who is less intense when they play?
