Best Plastic Mousetraps
These are without a doubt the most: effective, easy to use, well built, and reusable mousetraps I've tested. I have used other plastic easy set snaps from the bigger name mousetrap companies, as well as traditional Victor wooden snaps. I have a few of these Jawz that have been reused over half a dozen times and still retain the snap strength, unlike the others! The false trigger rate is also minimal. Getting rid of mice is not a fun process, but these traps are great value and minimal hassle to deal with the problem.

Jawz mouse traps
Designed to do what they are-----to catch mice!!!!!

Catches mice.
This works as advertised. Put a little bit of peanut butter in about 8 traps and almost everyone of them caught a mouse within a day or two.

They work
Update: These traps have captured seven (yes, 7!!) mice in just under a week, as opposed to the humane traps I tried, which caught zero (yes, 0) mice in about two weeks. At first, I really tried to be humane to the little guys, and used live catch traps, but they just laughed at them, so unfortunately, I had to step it up to these traps. I found these very easy to set, and bait, and so far they have caught two mice in one day. The design makes it so that mice have to step on the triggering platform in order to even get near the bait, so there should be no issues with mice stealing the bait. In addition, the triggering mechanism seems to be very sensitive, which should also help catch the mice. Many mice seem to know not to take bait from a trap, so you kind of need to be smart about how you position your traps. I knew of a particular opening in the wall that mice were running to, so I took nine of these traps, and lined them up touching each other side by side with the trapping end right against the wall, along the route the mice use to get to the opening in the wall. Mice greatly prefer running along walls, and along the perimeter of rooms, so setting traps this way seems to work well even for catching mice that don't try to get the bait- they just get caught in the trap when running to their destination, which is was I believe happened in these two cases. I happened to see the first mouse getting caught in the trap, and since it ran into the trap at a 90 degree angle, its head was not caught in the trap, but more of its upper body and torso, but it still seemed to pass away quickly, without much suffering, and just twitched for another second or two. I was a little skeptical about the snapping force of these traps, as one snapped on my finger during setup, and it didn't seem to be very strong, or at least not on my finger, but I will just say that the parts of the mouse that did get caught in the trap were FLAT, so that kind of puts my mind at ease, knowing that if the mouse is positioned correctly, I won't be setting it up for a slow painful death. Releasing the mouse is easy as well, and you don't need to touch any area that the dead mouse touched, because you're just pressing down on a lever opposite of the business end of the trap, and pressing it further resets the trap. It is also convenient to be able to look at all the traps, and tell by the little colored stickers whether each trap is armed. This also seems to be a great price per trap, and you know what they say, if you see one mouse, then you've got ten. I also read that going nuts on the quantity of traps is really effective, so buying them by the case seems like a good idea. I really hate to have to resort to ending these little guys' lives, but I just can't have them running around my kitchen, on my counters, on the couch, in my bed, or anywhere else anymore, and these traps at least seem to do the job quickly without much suffering.

Easy to Set Work Great in my Mountain House
I've used a lot of mouse traps over 12 years of owning a mountain house. The old fashioned kind are scary to set and many don't work at all because of the small metal holders that come bent. The kind with fakey cheese are worst of all. These all plastic Eaton ones are super easy to set. You won't be afraid of taking your fingers off doing it; you can even use the toes of your shoe. These traps are easy to load with peanut butter -- my go-to bait -- and you can easily see from far away if they are still set because the part sticking up perpendicular to the floor will be red. If somehow the little nibblers have managed to eat the peanut butter without tripping the trap, you can easily unset it, reload, and place them back. They are very effective and I haven't seen a disgusting bloody mess on the floor with these like I've sometimes seem with the old-school metal ones. After a year using a case of these, I'm ordering my second case. D**m rodents.

Buy this, they are the best
The best traps, period. There is nothing more unnerving then hearing a trap move because the mouse is still alive, no problem with these, if it wasn’t for the skin, the mouse would be cut in half.

Very sensitive
Had about 2 months and caught 5 mice. I know many more are lurking but decided against using bait to not attract bugs. Traps I received are very sensitive. Definitely had to be super cautious as they were being laid down. Yesterday a mouse ran into the end with the spikes while I was using the restroom ????. After screaming & running into another bathroom 10 ft away to finish my business, I heard it continually jumping around & shrieking. Not even 2 minutes later I see it jumped out the bathroom and into the hallway, about 4 ft. Trap was upside down and it was alive, trying to free itself. I grabbed a broom/dustpan then walked into my bedroom nervous as heck for literally 5 seconds. Came back out and it flipped over. I have never seen a mouse so big. Now im panicking, can't find the dustpan to sweep it up. I said to my adult son , "She's huge, has to be pregnant. She's too big, its gonna get off!" Lo and behold, she got off but her tail was still trapped somehow. Well she runs under the linen closet, tail still attached to trap that is flipped over. I immediately grabbed several traps and lined the ????. 3 minutes later she was caught in a 2nd trap. Swept up both traps with the quickness and adrenaline was still pumping half an hour later. You can't make this stuff up. Not sure if I had Mighty Mouse but her entire body was on the spiked part and nada happened besides me experiencing chest pain ????. Not sure how the other 4 dearly departed passed as I didnt move the traps. Live rodents no problem, dead I can't do. Thats the deal in my house, hence my son not assisting ????. To his credit he was awakened out his sleep at 4 a.m. from my screamingg on the toilet, he was still half dazed ????. Hope you all get a laugh, my family sure did. And despite my unforgettable experience I still recommend.
