Indoor dog house
My boy has always seemed to miss having his crate to sleep in as his own space. So when I saw this canopy, I wanted to try to see if it gave him that happy space he wanted. Seems to be so! I haven't seen him sleep like this on a bed in a long time.

Works great... But....
The ONLY thing I dislike about this product is the durability. I live in Texas and my dog cot with canopy is out in the sun. So, I have to replace my canopy almost every year. It seems to break down and get holes. I have two little Pekingese dogs. So, they aren't rough with it. It gets crunchy and gets holes along the ribs at the top of the canopy. This happens with both my medium and large canopies. But it shades my dogs in the sun and keeps them dry when it sprinkles out, and they love it!

No good for the AZ desert sun
I bought this to shade my old cat while on his cooling bed, but the fact is that this will only provide shade in the very middle of the day. Before 11:00 a.m, and after 1:00 p.m, the sun angle shoots under the canopy and onto the cooling bed itself. Ergo, my cat chose to abandon the bed completely. The Arizona sun/heat are unlike most places in the country in that it isn't merely uncomfortable, but very unhealthy as best. I have since built a cat ramada to cover the bed and offer much greater shelter for my little old man. I will say that if you are able to utilize this canopy in your case, it seems to be made of durable cloth and acceptable quality poles. In the end, I initiated a return on the canopy, and despite the clear statement in it's description that the item is "prime & FREE returns", the return would not have been free, but for some reason required a $5.99 fee, so give it some thought sure before you order.

This seems ok. it appears well made. It is ONLY the canopy, no bed supplied!
I thinK this canopy dog bed will work well. It appears to be made well, the canopy anyways...I had to place an additional order for the bed. I felt the way it was advertised was a bit misleading. I thought both pieces came together, but they are sold seperately. I probably would not have bought it if I'd known it was being sold this way. I think it will work out ok

Perfect outdoor siesta or indoor igloo =)
I reviewed many products as usual and this purchase was perfect! From Xmas morning igloo to now enjoying our SoFlo sunshine. Great materials and even gave me an idea for a pool float. I got the size small for my 5 lb chihuahua, definitely recommend.

Different supplier than the cot I bought but I still made it work! Good for hot weather. She used to go underneath the cot for shade! I put some treats to persuade her to go on top and now she loves to relax on it !

Beware
This canopy requires specific cot frames. The canopy cannot be attached to any old frame, because the corners require small holes or cut outs to allow the poles to sit in. This is what allows the canopy to remain upright. This should have been explained somewhere in the description prior to purchase. As a result, I had to piece together two cot frames to accommodate the canopy. ..... After all the work of making the canopy functional, my pet doesn't use it. The canopy is not useful in extremely warm weather. The tan color allows the heat to just bead right through.

great sun protection for your fur babies
The media could not be loaded. Overall this product is great at protecting my fur baby from the harsh sun. It was very easy to assemble. The only problem I have is that it was not clear if I was buying only the awning or the awning and the bed. It does not appear to be very sturdy, so I don’t leave it outside when it is very windy or when it rains. I haven’t had the opportunity to clean, so I don’t know how easy to clean it is.

Excellent product
This was a replacement piece love their product. Have had the bed and canopy for a few yrs had the dog not jumped on it and broke poles I wouldn’t be purchasing this.

Don't waste your money.
This part is completely useless without the base. I knew this and ordered both parts at the same time. The canopy came quickly, around July 25th. The base was expected by Aug 4th and to this day has still not even been shipped. Don't waste your money.
