Pretty but disappointing

This comes with a base, 3 pieces that need to be assembled for the post and a shaky lamp shade. The middle piece was completely crooked no matter how many times I tried to reassemble. I returned it. It was a huge hassle to repack and far too much styrofoam. Just got the replacement and it assembles the exact same way with the crooked middle pole. I need this lamp outside for an event this weekend and don’t have time to wait for a new one so I’ll keep it but very disappointed in the way it’s manufactured for $200.

Nice reading lamp at night on the balcony

Expensive. Very difficult to assemble with only one person. Heavy base (good thing for an outdoor lamp). Requires a special rated lightbulb, which is not included.

Recommend

The glass shade shakes when the wind blows. It hasn’t tipped over but move it against a wall when the wind is blowing hard.

Sturdy handsome outdoor light but the glass dome broke while installing it.

Overall the lamp is well made and gives more than adequate light. Assembly is easy and requires no special tools. The one issue I have is that the glass dome broke on installation. As you can see from the picture it split right thru the screw hole and that occurred just as I was barely starting to use the attached net screw. Most likely the hole was just a little too small. I tried calling the company and was disconnected after hanging on hold for 10 minutes and then sent them an email including the above picture and a copy of the Amazon invoice. After one week, no answer. Hopefully they will respond soon.

Beautiful outdoor lamp at a reasonable price.

Got this to go with my brown faux wicker outdoor furniture and am using it on my covered patio that has walls on 3 sides. I placed the lamp all the way next to the back wall between my sofa and chair to protect it from wind (and rain/sprinklers) although it feels hefty. I figure if I need to pull it out more for use, I can. So far, no problems despite several days of high winds and some pretty crazy rain storms with high winds.. About installing the bowl, place it on the lamp and then line up the holes and screw in the screws only part way until you have it aligned correctly. Then tighten each screw a bit moving around the lamp from screw to screw until they feel secure not tight as you could break the glass if you tighten too much. If you tighten the screws up one at a time, you will not be able to align them easily.

Loved this lamp until it toppled over on a windy day and the glass shade broke. If only the company would respond! I’d gladly buy a replacement shade. Crickets. Nice lamp, horrible customer service.

Excellent quality lamp outdoor and it looks amazing

Excellent quality lamp outdoor and it looks amazing. Very easy to assemble, even if it required a little trial-and-error installing the screws to put the glass shade on correctly. Package was perfectly packed and arrived without any damage. We use it in a 20x20 screened deck. A 100 watt bulb would REALLY light it up, too much for us. We use a 60 watt bulb and that's plenty light for reading in the evening, and the glass shade for the bulb allows a lovely light. The base is adequately heavy. It's color, however, is closer to black than the "bronze" of the resin shade wrap. But it looks good. 3-prong cord is long enough. On/Off button is properly covered for weather and easy to push. Definitely recommend!
