Quality Product!

Installed about a month ago. Heavy valve body, good polished brass finish, easy to turn valve. Just what I wanted to divert water from shower head to a hand shower on a Kohler flex hose. Makes cleaning the shower door and tile a breeze!

Almost perfect

Solidly built, looks great, and works well - but not perfectly. I have a polished brass Speakman shower head (which I highly recommend, especially with restrictor removed) connected to the front outlet, and a Delta hose-mounted shower head connected to the side outlet . The only thing that keeps me from giving this diverter a 5 star rating is the fact that it does not completely shut off the water flow to the side outlet when the water is directed to the front outlet.

Unfortunately mine did not work

I chose this model because our plumbing is all brass colored, but I had to send it back because ours worked like a flow "splitter" rather than a diverter. It was never able to completely stop the flow in the "closed" direction - there would always be small flow trickling through. It's supposed to allow full flow in one direction only, and no flow in the second, and visa versa. It was meant to be used with a standard shower head on one outlet, and a flexible hose and the other. I decided to try another model because I'm not convinced that a replacement will solve the problem. I have seen other designs that work well (they completely cut off the flow in one direction). However, Amazon accepted our return right away with absolutely no fuss. I explained the problem to them and they issued a refund promptly - much appreciated. Note: If your two devices have their own individual shut off valves, then the problem is irrelevant.

Excellent quality brass diverter!

I didn't need a diverter after all and returned it, but it is a quality product I would have kept if I did need one. It is solid brass,and at a very reasonable price.

Hot dog. An actual brass coupling! We, in fact, ordered this on-line from Amazon while we stood in the aisle gazing at every single shower head part that was at least partially plastic,if not all. And they all cost more than this one.

Just what I needed

This diverter is perfect for attaching my dog's shower hose. Previously, the shower hose adapter was in line and I blamed it for our low water pressure when we humans showered. Now we can turn the lever to divert the water to the hose. The hose adapter is plastic, of course, but it works great so far!

Expensive but as described

It is a good quality all metallic product; except inside the unit there is what looks like a plastic cylinder. Once installed it worked beautifully without any leak and directing the full flow in either direction as selected. Very satisfied
