High quality

I have been hesitant with this brand for years but finally tried it. I have bought both this one and we’ll as a kitchen sink. Thus far both exceed my expectations. Heavy and beautiful. I love this brand!

Check parts when arrived. Missing gaskets and drain but worked around missing pieces.

Good value but required work around for missing pieces. Amazon offered exchange but I had already paid plumber who discovered situation during install.

Looks good

Clean, elegant lines to this polished brass faucet set. The brass looks substantial, not a thin plating. I'm not a plumber or handyman but installed it myself. You will need a plumber's wrench to tighten the spout nut, and a 14 mm (If I remember correctly) short open-end wrench to tighten the lines that go from the handles to the spout. I suggest not using more than 4 layers of teflon tape or you'll be tightening the nuts forever a few millimeters at a time. The copper sink drain doesn't need putty and is easy to install. Adjustment of the down spout is easy, although movement up and down is restricted by the cuff with the Phillips head screw. You will need two people to position the faucets and spout while you tighten them. Lastly, make sure to clean any debris and stains around the sink holes before installing. Good luck.

Defective out of the Box

I read the 1 star review that said the product leaked at the base of the spout right out of the box. I could have saved my plumber three hours of trying to make it stop leaking. The product was defective right out of the box. I now have no confidence in Kingston Brass products. Thank you to Amazon for making the return easy, though!

Working well in my remodeled bath

This faucet looks great and is working well. Do check the package as soon as it arrives. I did not open the first one because in was not ready to install. When I went to finish my bath remodeling there were some blemishes in the finish. Amazon was good enough to replace with the same even though the return period had passed by a few days. The second unit arrived in perfect condition. Wife is happy, no complaints.

The product was faulty as the cold water tap does not turn on and off properly, to date I have not received a replacement which is very annoying as I had a plumber install the unit to the tune of $300.00. I therefore cannot return the whole set, a good lesson. Do not buy this type of product on line. In retrospect, I should have ordered another unit and returned the faulty tap with it but I wanted to be honest. Obviously that doesn't pay as I still have not had this issue resolved.
